  1. Thank you very much enigma-2 for the research you put into your answer. I did in fact check all the parts using RepairLink and cross referenced the parts numbers including the reverse sensors. The parts that mattered seemed to match. But in our industry I have seen where parts match but still don’t fit because the parts are mounted slightly over from the previous model year. It’s rare but it does happen. If nobody else has done this I may have to be the guinea pig. Just hate spending over $200 on a guess. Thank you either way.
  2. Hello everyone. I hope everyone is doing well. As the title states, I am wondering if anyone knows from experience whether or not the rear bumper cover from a 1.5 gen Edge (2011-2014) fits onto a 1 gen Edge (2007- 2010)? I know people have exchanged the rear tail lights but I have never heard of anyone exchanging bumper covers. The only reason why I am wondering is because I want the Edge Sport rear bumper, as the only Edge Sport made in the 1 gen was in 2009 and 2010, it is very rare and I can not find one near me. Shipping one would be quite pricy. I can however find some from the 1.5 gen era. Thanks in advance.
  3. I've actually done the resonator delete on my 10 Edge Limited and it sounds like a Honda civic at times. The resonator that came off is in fact a straight through design. I replaced it with a Thrush glasspacked resonator. It ended up being mildly louder then stock after adding the Thrush resonator. And a big fyi. Hollowing out your Catalytic Converter is a bad idea. A cat has a "honey comb design". Each individual hole add up to the size of exhaust piping on your vehicle. Hollowing out your cat will change 2.5" to 5, 6 or 7 inch pipe cause you to lose flow and therefore lose power. Keep the cats as is or just cut them out.
