The LED strips are about 8000K or a bit less, pure white with a hint of blue. I am ordering the BRIGHTlITE HID AND DLR with Turn Signal. I am very picky about the how the car looks as far headlights, I like them to be uniform, and if the LED strips I added don't blend well, I'll remove them, but I think they will Match up well Can't wait to get my hands on that BRIGHT LITE COMBO, I already changed all my dome lights with bright white LEDS Anything beats the stock lamps, I can't even find the silver sylvania brighter output near HID xeon lamps for our headlights. Correction they were 10000K White Blueish I got them from DDMTUNING Since they always has the 10000K HIDs in the same tone, I tried the 12000K but to violet/purp didn't like. Have a great new year

Ford PremiumCare ESP and Premium Maintenance Plans
NexusFFO replied to wlepse's topic in Recalls, TSBs & Warranty
I purchased it, without second guessing it. The way it was explained, rather sold to me was it covers all the sensitive touch controls, nav, tires, roadside, hotel if you breakdown more then 100miles from home, free loaner* as per bait-um from the finance manager. The Edge Sport does have a whole lot of electronics and digital screens that can go bad so I felt it was best to get the best coverage, even thou my car was a pre-own cert under 100,000 miles. that only covers bumper to bumper whatever that means, I want full power train Lets see when the day comes that I need to claim a service repair and find out if I am covered LOL -
In Miami we don't have snow, but we sure have a whole lot of rain and everglades trails. I can feel the difference driving my AWD. It just feels solid, no front or back end rising at hard acceleration. Feels like a tank. But should I be worried about problematic issues as far as the AWD system goes? Anything I should be warned about or be proactive to maintain the AWD system working flawless? I am dying to take my Edge Sport out on some soft dirt farm land just to put her to the test and see how good that traction control works out. But I'm a bit scarred Any tips, I think ya in advance. That makes perfect sense. it was a corporate owned car. Thanks, now the inline fuse, could of been a cut switch relay of some sort. I'm thinking. Not to worried about the wiring that I found, the car runs flawless. its was just out of place. Be well.

A cheaper alternative and it looks really nice

The cellphone captures the pictures with too much glare. I did the same mod on my old Audi, they look like diamond studs and matched my HID head lamps and fogs @ 1000k They sell them at AutoZone. very easy to install, they have an 3M adhesive on one side and and all you have to do is wedge the flexible 12" strip between the headlight and the bumper.I usually tap them into the blinker wiring so they blink when I use the turn signal or you can just wire them constant. They lasted 4 years on my audi.

"A big warm welcome to you, NexusFFO! My name is Tricia, and I’m the U.S. Ford Customer Service Representative on this forum. I’ll be happy to assist if you have any questions or concerns." Well this a first from all the car forums I have been a member of, I have never really a Corporate Rep interact within a car forum. Tech mechanics yes, but never a warm welcoming from corporate. This has just reassured my confidence that I invested in a caring american car. Pleased to meet you Tricia. I really have falling in LOVE with my Edge. It is literately brand new as it was owned by a company before I bought it, well taken care of and perfect maintenance records. Pre-owned Certified But I recently emailed my sales rep with some discoveries and wondering if I can change my preferred dealer location closer to my area. All I have gotten is spam email. I also purchased the premium warranty. But I since discovered a few issues that need service, such as passenger seat motor does not move forward or back, rear camera is blurry and a alignment issue from day one. I hope these things are covered. And I recently discovered this odd wiring.... found in this thread http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/17060-wtf-is-this/?do=findComment&comment=122653 Otherwise, I feel I made a good decision chasing down this particular model and year. Thank YOU and any information you can suggest would be greatly appreciated. Eddie Miami

My $20 first MOD Bright LED Side angle strip. They light up the road at night with no parking lights on. Can't wait to get my Brightlites.

I just bought my 2011 edge sport and I have the same issue, the rear camera is blurry, but as I look at the camera lens, its not cloudy nor any signs of water or other visible objects on the CCD optic lens.. I bought my car as a Pre Owned Certified and added the premium extended warranty to cover all the touch and digital electronics...... I was about to take it apart, but since I saw this post. I am taking it in to the dealer. I updated the sync to the most current version as well. Thanks.

I did a search and found a few products.... are they worth the $300+ price? Has anyone here installed this mod on their Edge? Thanks.

I just bought my 2011 Edge Sport, I usually drive in the day with the parking lights because I like the look of the yellow indicators and white bumper markers. But I love these Bright-Lites Leds with turn signal built in. My question would be, how bright are the LED's? Edited; look at those china ones on ebay, and found this picture on brightlites site, I am sold. ;p -- scratch that, better question is, what HID lamp will match these LEDS? 6000K 8000K 10000K? Thanks in advance for you input. . They really look nice on your ride ED

lol your warning is hereby toooo late... enjoy would be an understatement; I freaking loving it and the AWD adds to the fun. After I am doing doing my custom modifications and put my fallen office blue line front plate, the cops are going to love it as well.. lol Thanks for the welcoming!

I got lucky on this one. It was company owned only for 2 yrs, logged service records to par, very clean, head rest rear TV's. Loving it and the AWD feel. Thanks for you're reply, let me know of anything I should be warned about LOL.. be well. Eddie NExus
