I know that this is an old thread but as I was replacing all 4 speakers in my 08 edge over the weekend and ran into a bit of a problem. I have already upgraded the head unit with a pioneer double din and used the idatalink module to be able to keep the sync and steering wheel controls etc. So I decided to use comp. in the front and coax in the rear and when I hooked up the speakers only the right front and the sub are now playing. Do I need to bypass the factory amp to get the speakers playing correctly? I figured that it wouldn't be an issue just swapping out the speakers. The plan is to do a full system upgrade with an amp for the doors and an amp for the subs in a custom box. Any help or ideas would be gratefully appreciated

I was very happy to finally have my edge back today but I'm not gonna lie it was a bittersweet reunion. I was starting to enjoy driving the f150. Now I can't wait to get started puttin my touch on it.

I received a metal tank so that's probably what everyone will be getting. Guy said the tank cost $2500

I got the same good news just a few mins ago. My edge has been at the dealership since march and last time i spoke with them they were saying it would not be in til the end of summer maybe Sept. Dont know what happened but im happy and sad. I have enjoyed driving the new f150 but i have missed my edge. I hope everyone will be getting the same good news in the weeks and months to come.

I called the dealer about 2 weeks ago to see if there was any time of change or if they had any info about what's going on with my edge, lady calls back says that we are in the same place as we were last month. I cant believe Ford is just letting customer vehicles sit and not do anything. I mean come on its not like these are 2015 cars and the supply might be low. These are 7-8 year old suvs. You mean to tell me not one gas tank has been made in all that time or that there is no other gas tank that will fit this particular car? I'm very disappointed in Ford right now. I guess I can say that they are taking care of me as far as putting me in this nice 2015 F150 but, if I wanted this type of truck I would have bought one from the start. Does anyone else have any news about their edge?

Yeah definitely the worst part about this whole thing is that you have to leave your edge at the lot to sit until the get a new tank. I felt so bad today cause I washed my rental and I never even got a chance to wash my edge before she had to be caged up. I'm starting to like the rental but I really want my edge back. I had so many plans for it and they are all on hold cause because I don't want to spend the money buying things for it when i have no idea when I'll be getting it back

I drove past the dealership and it looks like it's just siting out there. They will probably let it just sit there and collect dust I'm already missing it. Weather is gettin nice out so now is the time I would start working on getting it the way I like it. I had ordered a new pioneer radio for it now it's just sitting in the closet collecting dust as well

I took my edge in a couple days ago, it wasn't leaking but I could always smell gas when I was next to it so I didn't want too take any chances and called the dealer to make an appointment. I show up at the dealer and drop it off now mind you I had not read any of these post until now so I'm going off what the letter is saying that it will only take a couple hours so I call around 2 to see what's going on and that's when they break the news that they don't have the part and have no idea when they will get the part! I'm shocked I have only had this car for a month just took the paper tags off a week earlier! So they say we will give you a rental for the duration of the time they have it sitting around. I'm in total disbelief how could ford have no know when they will have a gas tank? They are talking anywhere from a month to 6 mos! I'm not too hurt they gave me a 2015 f150 but it's not my edge
