They may be using the same wiring harness as they do in the MKX. The upgraded THX system available in the MKX has two speakers in the door - thus two wires.

I find that actual average speed on local roads is quite a bit lower than the defaults in the nav unit. Once you figure in time spent waiting at lights, accelerating and slowing down, your actual average speed is a lot lower than the speed limits of the roads you drive. Some may be lucky to live in areas with better traffic flow, but for the rest of us, adjusting the local street speeds down should actually deliver better ETAs.

Two things to check. First, make sure you are choosing the shortest time route and not the shortest distance route. Second, go to settings and adjust the road speeds used for route calculations. Increase the highway speed and decrease the local street speed. This should result in more highway routings.

I have had Sirius in my car for a number of years. My wife also has it in her car. For the past couple of months we have been experiencing the signal cutting out in both cars. It has gotten bad enough to shift to Ipod and cds. The problem is occurring along an open road (interstate highway) where we have never experienced problems before. It also only happens on the way home from work - 5-6 pm. Reception is good in the morning. We are in south Florida. I am curious as to the location of the people having problems. I suspect that locations like south Florida, which is at the corner of the coverage area, may be experiencing more problems that other parts of the country. This is not the standard signal loss due to an obstruction - tall buildings, bridges, etc. It is something else. I thought it was my equipment starting to give out - it is old. But my wife's radio is much newer and she has been having the same problem (although tonight she had no problems).

In the US, the seats do not come standard with the dark piping. The dark piping is included in the Ultimate Package (the leather is also upgraded).
