  1. Mine failed quickly like that too... within 2 blocks it went from working great to being very dangerous.
  2. The owner letter does have the correct VIN. I just looked up my VIN and plant is Oakville but the build date is Feb 2010 (instead of May in the letter). The dealer said that when they ran it in OASIS, there's no recalls, field actions or anything under my VIN except for the basic build info which they said was very unusual. It did have PremiumCare but it only applies to the old owner I'm told.
  3. I have a 2010 Ford Edge SEL AWD and had the letter from the previous owner about the booster issue. On Thursday of last week, I started having the hissing sound and the brake pedal got stiff and I couldn't stop as well as I usually could. I took the Edge to the dealer along with the letter and he said it should be covered if it's the booster. On Saturday he verified it was a faulty booster but could not find anything in OASIS about the warranty and Ford wouldn't talk to him on a Saturday. He said I needed to pay in full and then if I called Ford on Monday, Ford would refund me. So the total was $1018. I called Ford today (Monday) and they said that the 13N02 warranty extension does not exist and that they couldn't help me. I called back and told them I had the letter and 2 other people at Ford (with an Indian accent) said they couldn't help me and that it wasn't covered. Can someone steer me in a direction to get this refunded?
