I just purchased version 6P of the DVD nav map update. How often are updates put out? Was version 3p the current version back in Feb, 2007 when the Edge was introduced?

I purchased a brand new off the line 2007 Ford Edge with nav in February 2007. I just bought the map update, version 6P. When I took the old DVD out I saw that it was version 3P. Does anyone know what the release dates for version 3P, 4P, and 5P were. If those version were out already when I got the car, then I think Ford owes me a map update. Thanks and anyone who is buying a new Edge or other Ford vehicles with nav should check before they leave the dealer to make sure they have the current version 6P. Those updates are too expensive to not have the current one when you get the car. jschaffer@usa.net

I have an Edge with the class I trailer hitch but I wanted the class II one. I would be glad to sell you my class I and ship it to you. Then I can buy the class II and put it on. Let me know Jeff Schaffer

Let me know what you find too. I am interested in seeing if we can bypass the Agree screen, and if we can input while moving. It is ridiculous that using Sirius you can scroll through channels while moving. The user interface is not very well done for use in a car. Thanks
