Once the ST badge is removed, will it leave a blank space were it was that is visible?
it is black on black, but still will retain the overall shape of the ST lettering. Not very noticeable as the front ST badge is relatively small.

I am looking to find a honeycomb style grille to replace the ugly chrome up front. I don't want to do the grill swap because the ST is in the grille and its not an ST. Anyway I've been all over the interweb and I'm coming up empty. I was wondering if anyone on here has had any luck finding something similar?
Looking for black honeycomb style or just even black.
The ST on the grille is attached with double sided adhesive and can be removed. A bit of heat from a hair dryer, some dental floss and goops remover to clean up the left overs from the double sided adhesive and it's all gone. Other option is to cover the ST with a small piece of gloss black Vinyl wrap.

By default you only get the heated steering wheel on the screen. Cooled/heated seats have physical buttons on the main centre console. If you want then on the main screen, you can add them using Forscan.

Jonathan,
After additional research, we identified that there are programmable parameters listed in the Active Noise Control (ANC) and Engine Sound Enhancement (ESE). Attempt to disable the ANC/ESE feature by using the programmable parameters within IDS by going to Module Programming > Programmable parameters > DACMC/ACM. If the system is not capable of being disabled through the programmable parameters in IDS, then the ANC system should be able to be deactivated by disconnecting one of the noise cancellation/control microphones; as shown in wiring diagram cell 132-7.

Hey guys,
I actually have the same issue with a 2018 Edge Sport. The issue happened rarely when it was new (about a year ago) but now it just wouldn't stop happening. Both back doors (ONLY) vibrate like it's nobody's business and that awful humming noise escalates and then disappears. If I rev the engine, the noise goes away, only to be back after a couple of seconds. Took the car into the shop 3 weeks ago and on the third day, they said they couldn't find the issue and everything was working properly. I went up there and put a 40-pack of water bottles in the trunk, started up the car and let the engine idle down to ~600 RPM and asked the tech to sit in the car and feel the doors and he was perplexed (the doors vibrate both in the inside and outside of the car). Anyway, about a week later they gave me the car back saying the issue was the noise cancelling system and that they replaced the audio control module and that the issue was fixed. Driving the car home after picking it up, I heard that ominous vibration as strong as ever, stopped driving the car, and took it back to the shop. Now they've had the car for about another week and now they will replace the microphone and some insulation in the rear doors. It seems like they're shooting in the dark here, but I will keep this updated. It seems like Ford would have better knowledge about this by now, but it seems they're as lost as ever. I will call in and ask them to deactivate the active noise cancelling system, like ONEDGE16 above me suggested.
Just to rehash, the problem only happens when the engine idles around 600 RPM and there is a load in the rear cargo area. There is a vibration that builds up in both back doors, which causes that loud, deep humming noise, and goes away in a few seconds (very consistent and repeatable issue). They replaced the audio control module and nothing.
If the dealers tells you it's not possible, you can reference the thread below. The screen print within the first post of the thread has instructions from Ford on how to access and disable the ANC system using IDS, and the workaround if they are unable to do it via IDS

They should just deactivate the "Active Noise Cancelling system". They can do that using their IDS software.
You can also do it yourself using Forscan
ACM 727-01-01 xxxx xXxx xxxx X=0 --> Disable or X=2 --> enabled
Usually this Forscan mode is used to disable the Engine Noise Enhancement (fake engine noise piped in) but it disables the Noise cancelling System as well.

here's another youtube video that shows the simple procedure:
as for tools, you can use a screw driver as shown in the video, or get a trim removal kit:

OP said he has a 16 Edge Sport...those all came with SYNC3 from the factory. The software just needs to be at 2.0 or higher and the hub installed. $479....wtf are they smoking.
Third post in this thread he mentioned, unless he meant Sync 3 V2.0 upgraded to Sync3 V3.0
On 8/19/2019 at 8:53 PM, HockeyShot39 said:No I just bought the car. It was in sync 2.0 and I upgraded it, but has no apple car play
In any case, the SSM quoted by the tech says that V 2.0 is required for it and not V3.0 - but it does mention an update to APIM could be needed.
Sync 3 V 2.0 was release July 2016 and was the first version of Sync 3 to support Apple Carplay and Android Auto
SSM 46561 - May 3 2017 4769 - 2016 Ford And Lincoln MKX - SYNC 3 And Navigation - Apple CarPlay And/Or Android Auto - Customer Pay Upgrade Available
Some customers with 2016 Ford/Lincoln vehicles with SYNC 3 and Navigation may request an upgrade for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. In General settings and about check if v2.0 is present. If V2.0 is present no software update is needed. Apple CarPlay requires a new Media/USB hub to be installed. Refer to GSB for Apple CarPlay Android Auto upgrade. Follow WSM, Section 415-00 to update APIM if needed. After Installation Complete pop-up, follow PTS instructions and perform a complete ignition cycle by turning the key off for 5 minutes which is critical for a successful installation. The software and hardware upgrade is customer paid as it is not a warrantable repair per the Warranty And Policy Manual, Section 3, Warranty Coverages – SYNC.- 1

Most probably got that answer back cause the search/inquiry in the oasis system is based on the Car VIN and as built info, which would have indicated Sync 3 not being installed on the vehicle.
Since you've done the upgrade yourself, you just need to get the USB HUB and do the swap
attached is the repair shop manual for the media hub

Thank you for the pictures. I heard the front fit fine but the rear was the biggest issue. Once I again I feel ford release this car before it should have I mean how much engineering time would it have taken someone with surfcam or solid works software to design one to fit perfect. SMH. In fact the first company that does come up with the correct design they will have the market share because everyone will go to them kinda like weather tech their floor mats are in my opinion they best you can get. A little on the high side but when compared to the others it is worth it. I would pay extra for stuff that just fit 100%. Same goes with a CAI if someone made one that worked and didn't suck in hot air I would be all in if the price was under $ 500.00 won't even care if it only added 8 more hp I would do it. Spent this much on the Edge so a few dollars more isn't going to make be go without eating..LOL although I could stand to loose a few pounds
The issue with the Ford molded Rear Splash Guard not fitting is not new to the 2019 ST. It was there since inception for the 2015+ MY. It does not fit the 2015-2018 Edge sport. They were only designed to fit SE, SEL & titanium trims.

Did the switch today. Took about 15 minutes total. What a difference! Thx for the video tutorial.

Dealers have the procedure for replacing now. But Ford refuses to warranty a dual horn setup. Go figure.
Interresting! They won't warranty a dual horn setup if done outside dealership or as replacement of a defective single tone? Wouldn't they warranty the part itself? What could the swap tk a dual horn cause if the swap procedure is done properly?

I guess these are US prices. I paid $54,450 CAD out the door (tax, fees, registration....included) (that's about $41,360) . Got 401A, Cold Weather + 21"rims (performance brakes not available in Canada).

On your BCM replacement, did that correct your seat back not cooling/heat? I have the same issue and my Ford dealer has know idea why and has a call into a Ford engineer.
It only fixed the remote start issue. Not the back lumbar section of the seats heating/cooling and cooling fan too loud. They still have to fix that one. There is SSM 47814 out there but doesn't seem to address it either.
NHTSA ID Number: 10156883
Manufacturer Communication Number: SSM 47814
Summary
Some 2016-2019 Explorer, 2016-2018 MKX, 2019 Edge/Nautilus, 2017-2019 Fusion/MKZ, and 2018-2019 F-150/Mustang/Expedition/Navigator vehicles equipped with climate controlled seats may exhibit a buzzing noise from the front seats, front seats too warm, and/or inoperative climate controlled front seats. DTCs B14BA:13, B1154:4B, and/or B14B9:13 may also be present. This may be due to loose terminal pin fit on the driver seat module (DSM) connector C341D (16 pin). If a loose terminal pin fit condition is found during normal diagnostics per Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-10, a new service pigtail connector (part number 3U2Z-14S411-BRAB) is available. Refer to Wiring Diagram, Cell 119 to make sure C341D is a 16 pin connector and not a 20 pin connector. Refer to Wiring Diagram, Cell 5 for the recommended splicing procedures.

Took the car in to the dealership yesterday to get the Adaptive Headlamps recall done, at the same time asked them to look at the climate seats for a couple of issues:
1- with remote start, only driver seats come on (heat/cool) on
2- only the bottom part of the seat function, the back lumbar area not cooling/heating
3- when cool is on, the seat fan is loud enough to hear it with the radio on
Gets a call in the afternoon to let me know that they need to replace BCM. Here's what the tech put on the work order
-
I had the recall done and they are working. Still dealership did not add the Adaptive headlamp menu to left IPC as indicated in owner's manual Page 105.
Tried doing it wit Forscan using the codes from the F150 Forum, but had partial succees.
The adaptive headlamp menu is added, but greyed out - cannot select or deselect it
also adding cross traffic, it adds it under the main lighting menu and not under

The 2020 order guide is out
