  1. I just got my LMS tune installed on my 15 Edge Sport. I am running the 91 performance tune seeing as that is the best fuel we can get here in Colorado. I may inquire about the aggressive shift tune in a while. I am also about 5000ft elevation. The tune was easy to install and LMS was quick about getting me my tuner and tunes. So far I am quite pleased with them. First impressions of the tune... I love it. I was only able to take about a 10 minute drive, but it is very noticeable. You really can spin tires on pavement. My first launch spun my tires, and I giggled. It was awesome. I was able to take it up to about 110mph and also did not have that strange transmission shift. For comparison purposes. I was/am a Subaru guy as well, and I have had 5 tuned Subarus. I had a 2005 Leagcy gt, 2010 Forester XT, 2005 WRX, 2012 WRX, and an 2015 STI. I had run at least a stage 1 tune at least on each of those. (stage 1 meaning engine tune only) I can say that most of the time i just could not tell much of a difference with a just a tune. Perhaps it was a little quicker and smoother, but it was hard to tell. Not so much with the Edge. I noticed an immediate and very noticeable difference. I quite enjoy this Edge. Sure it cant corner like my STI, but for a compromise for a full time dad car, it is great.
  2. Who else is working on tunes. My Christmas money is burning a hole in my pocket.
  3. I am a little concerned about the transmission part. The one thing I never worried about on my STI LOL. I can't wait to tune, but it will be a while after Christmas, as my bank account needs to recover. The Edge sport is already darn quick, I am really looking forward to the extra power. I love taking down the occasional street youth at a stoplight here and there.
  4. Thanks. White was not my first choice, but as long as it has black wheels I am happy. I originally ordered a blue one, but it got hailed on in transit, and they made me a great deal on the white.
  5. I don't think it is a problem. I have been running a Escort Max radar detector and a dash cam on the same circuit for 6 months now.
  6. Good to hear, and glad I could help. Akirby is correct. Many of these new vehicles control the circuits via computer modules, that is why we can program how long some of the delays take and all that fun stuff. You can do it JB124.
  7. Yeah, It is a bit of a trick to get up there. I am not a small guy, so you guys should be able to do it. It is less painful with a beer. LOL
  8. Thanks. I loved that STI, it was so fun in CO, but being forced into being a single father I needed something bigger and better in the mountains. We got about 12 inches of snow... and wind this last week. So far the edge is really impressing me. It is well behaved, easy to drive gentle, and seems very stable. I have no issues getting though deeper ruts and heavy snow, then I can turn off traction control and have a bit of fun. The stability control is not the worst for having fun, I can get the tail out a bit. The Edge is more capable that I thought it would be. I just wanted the turbo 6 and seat coolers. I have even got it up some pretty good 4x4 trails here, though I am always scared of scratching my wheels.
  9. Any more updates or impressions GT500? I traded my 15 STI for and Edge sport and am looking at the LMS tuning.
  10. I have lurked for a while and decided to join. I bought my 15 Egde sport about 8 months ago, and have really been enjoying it. It is my first Ford, except for a old f150 farm truck, so far I have had no issues. I come from a long line of modified Subarus, so I love the 2.7 ecoboost and look forward to some modifications to it as well. What I traded.
  11. Hey guys, I just made an account so I could post here. I have a 15 sport and wanted my radar and dash cam hard wired. I talked to the service tech at my dealership, and they said that the little sliding tray does not come out. It seems like it should. I had to basically lie on my back and get my arms up there while holding a flashlight in my mouth. I had to experiment with the fuses, and unlike many cars the fuse box in not powered by the accessory from the key. Many fuses have power all the time, including the spare or empty ones. The fuse you want to tap is the Delayed Accessory #23. This way your cam will turn off with your stereo when you open the door. You also want to use the Micro2 fuse tap. I got mine of Amazon for about 10 dollars. Hope this helps.
