  1. Coming from a Honda Civic, storage was super limited. Just got my 2016 edge, and the center console is humongous and very deep, there's a storage area on the dashboard above the Sync 3 system, another hidden about knee height, not to mention the door panels and all of the smaller compartments. I know the one with the USB ports are good to stash your phone in while you're driving (since I can pretty much do anything I need via sync or siri eyes free), but other than that I'm at a loss as to what to do with all of this space! What the heck do people fill all of these up with?
  2. I looked into that--- I did not get the cold weather package, but wanted to upgrade the floor mats. I spent about $200 for the ford all weather mats and the cargo liner... checked weathertech's site, and they didn't have any of the mats available for the 2016 edge. (In hindsight, I'm assuming I could have just gotten the 2015 versions and they'd fit too, right?) I've never seen weathertechs in real life usage, are they really that much better than ford's versions? Curious if I should return the ford ones (they are ordering them from factory as I already took delivery of the car) and go with weathertech?
  3. Picked up my 2016 Edge about 2 days ago. We absolutely love it so far. We ended up going with the SEL pretty loaded (tech package with sync 3, leather seats, etc.). We were going to get the titanium, but after comparing everything side by side, the only thing we were really missing is some of the trim features (ambient lighting, etc.), the 18" vs. 19" wheels, and the "9 speaker premium audio" vs. 12 speaker sony audio. Other than that, we are loving the feel of the vehicle. Feels truly like a luxury car inside and out. 2.0 Ecoboost is great, we were debating getting the V6 but I don't think it's necessary. Loving the remote start, sync 3, leather seating feels great. Tons of storage compartments all around the car. One thing I did notice that I thought came in the SEL tech package was seat memory, but apparently that may just be a Titanium feature? Either way, we went with an almost fully loaded SEL vs. the similarly equipped Titanium. Aside from the few things mentioned above not sure if we're really missing too much. Got the Magnetic color with ebony leather interior. I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff but let me know if you have any other questions! Extremely happy with the price we paid. We were eligible for the x-plan, but ford has a deal right now where if you're trading in a foreign car (Honda Civic in our case), your sponsor can call back in and get you the A/Z plan... saved an extra $2600 that way, figured I'd throw that out there in case any one else can benefit!
