Not when driving. Only when parked out of gear (no load) at low rpms. I have a sound clip but don't know how to post it. I think I can email it though.

I have a strange issue with the Edge. There's a tapping sound coming from behind the firewall in the drivers area. It's loudest in the car with the doors closed and the air off at idle but frequency increases with engine RPM. It sounds like something is rubbing, or bouncing off of the firewall. Goes away completely above 2000 RPM. A little research pointed to a fuel rail damper (mechanical, not foam). I felt the fuel rail and it was tapping pretty hard so I took it to the dealer and he said it was a piece of foam that wasn't there. After a day or so we got the car back quiet as new but after 30 miles the sound is coming back again. Anyone else have this issue? My wife HATES odd noises and vibrations and this can get pretty loud if it comes back like it did before. Thanks! * Built on 11/12/2015

My name is Bobby and we just bought a 2015 Ford Edge sport in early January of 2016. It's actually my wife's car but I do all of the forum hopping so here I am. We are very impressed with the Edge, though it has 1 issue which I'll post in another area. All in all, it's a quick, nicely appointed vehicle that's perfect for my wife's style of driving (Get out of my way!). The mustang is mine, though with all the traffic I deal with I never get to let the ponies run.
