  1. For anyone with the LMS tune, did it fix the bucking and harsh 2-3 shifts?
  2. Didn't last. She officially hates her ST.
  3. I did. It helped for a few days but feels like the weird shifting and bucking are coming back. Slowly. The adaptive learning actually needs to be turned off as it was perfect for a day or 2 after I reset it. That's my next study..
  4. Hope ours lasts that long. Thanks for the update.
  5. Kill adaptive learning! Kill it with fire! Well, maybe not fire. Maybe a few keystrokes?
  6. Update.. I reset "Clear transmission adaptive tables" last night and took it out for a test drive. Wife said it shifted so much better that if it stays like this she'll be super happy. First time I've seen her giggle when driving it. So, if it learns the crappy shifting again I'll have to do another reset. Is there any way to turn "adaptive learning" off? I didn't go into the PCM, just reset from the service procedures screen. If this can be turned off our problem will be fixed 100%. **Pay no attention to the vehicle at the top. I was modifying a few things on my car and looked for this while I was at it. Hers was done later that night.
  7. It was made 4/15/19 so the TSB doesn't apply. I took it in for service and they said there are no TSB's available for her vehicle. I think I'm going to clear the TCM memory and see if that helps. Unfortunately there's no video's (that I know of) with step by step instructions using FORScan so this should be fun. I've done it before on my Focus ST but this is HER car and I can't screw it up.
  8. I'm going to chime in here and say we traded a 2015 Edge sport for a new 2019 Edge ST a little over a month ago. It's my wife's car and she is having the same problems everybody else is and Ford can't fix it right now. It has caused her to hate her new Edge. Her old one drove and shifted perfectly all the time. There is an article out there that says Ford is working on a recalibration for the edge ST transmission. It will likely be for all 8 speed Edge transmissions. It can't come soon enough.
  9. If you're on a hill it'll make the clunk worse. I have to set the parking brake before releasing the brakes in our driveway.
  10. My wife has an Edge ST that was built 4/15/19 and it has weird shifting (slipping when cold) between 2nd and 3rd gears, holds gears way too long and was bucking like crazy at about 55mph under light throttle going up a long hill. You could see it in the tach. The TSB states built on or before March and mine was built mid-April. Are there any other TSB's or work being done to correct this in vehicles built after March? I'll be taking it in this Friday to have them look at it but I have absolutely no confidence in our local dealers. We traded in a 2015 Edge Sport to get this and it had a PERFECT (FWD) transmission. This one feels like the programmers went to lunch mid way through programming the shift strategy and never came back. Unless someone has any other ideas I'll take it in Friday and if nothing's done I'll wipe the cache through ForScan. Kubicide, can you PM me the details on how you did it? I programmed my Focus ST a few years ago but I don't remember much about it. Thanks!
  11. That's what I was hoping for. Thanks!
  12. Has anyone removed the stock exhaust resonator? Don't want to change the exhaust, just increase the volume a bit. It worked great on our 2006 fusion 3.0 and my Focus ST. No drone at all. Thanks!
  13. I did find a used one that the seller said would work so I may try that.
  14. I would buy another key so that I have my original 2 + 1 for the Mustang and 2 + 1 for the edge.
  15. I have a 2015 Mustang GT automatic and my wife has a 2015 Edge sport. I bought a replacement key to have as a spare for my Mustang off of eBay and it worked fine. My question is, since they look the same and are of the same year, do you think a mustang auto key fob will work with the edge? I'd like to buy her a spare but would hate to waste $50..
  16. Here are some pics. The wire tie is to the left of the battery in the back. The 2nd pic shows it more clearly.
  17. I'll post a few pics by this weekend. The area I zip tied was actually behind the engine, not far from the firewall.
  18. I stopped the ticking. If you grab the high pressure fuel line and the plastic line directly underneath it and pull the close to each other the tapping stops. You can feel the tapping in the high pressure line and it goes away when the 2 lines are squeezed together. I think there might have been a missing clip somewhere. I put a zip tie around the 2 lines and brought them about an inch closer and the noise stopped. Made sure to put the tie around the protective sheath and not the lines themselves. I didn't have to make it tight to stop the noise. I'm sure it just moved them off of something below.
  19. It's back. I have right at 6000 miles on it and while it's not as loud as the last time, you can hear it. Anyone else dealt with this?
  20. JRTC532008, interested to know if that was the problem with your Edge?
  21. It was Town and Country Ford in Louisville Ky. 502-964-8131 Donna was our service advisor. Don't remember the mechanics name but he has over 30 years experience.
  22. It's a fairly simple repair. A good mechanic can replace the pump and line in a couple of hours. The pump showed on the receipt to be only a bit over $180 so a repair out of warranty later on won't be too bad. Still quiet over 400 miles later!
  23. UPDATE: The dealer replaced the high pressure pump and the line (both have to be replaced together) and the noise is gone. The interior is very quiet now, just like it should be. 100 miles on it so far and all is good.
  24. Sounds like you may have a short due to a water leak. My uncle had a mustang that had a small water leak. A slow trickle landed on the body control module and caused some of the pins to turn green. This in turn caused several electrical problems. The corrosion was not visible from the outside on the box. After sealing the leak, I pulled this small box out, opened it up and did a thorough cleaning. That fixed all his problems. I would say all the electrical stuff is failing because of 1 problem somewhere. Maybe a crushed harness or more likely something wrong with the body control module. Check for leaks around it. Unplug the battery and then unplug the module and look at the pins. Since you've had an issue with the (A pillar?) water leak, I think I'd start with the BCM, if that's what they're still calling them. It controls most everything electrical in the car.
