Is that booster warrenty extension coverd for an 08... My booster just went out on my edge..

I recently did the break pads on my 08 ford edge sel. Now the break pedal is alot harder to push in and there is a hissing noise when break peddle is pushed in. I push the break peddal really hard and there is alot of resistance and the car barely stops. I'm thinking its the break booster but wanted to see if I could get any other opinions on here...
