  1. I bought all the parts from Ford for the fog lamps... Nothing is hooked to the lights, it's all for show only. I found the decals on eBay. I had to really look to find this size. I glued them on, didn't trust the decal glue.
  2. You can find many of them with this search: eBay search FYI, I'm up north and these do pit when salt stays on them, they aren't exactly expensive. It's best to wax them if this is a concern. Mine look good yet, but I wish I would have waxed mine before winter hit.
  3. k_m, no problem at all. The instructions were good and helpful. I would've liked to have taken photos myself, but I didn't have time to do it. It was a real pain to get out, if I were to do it again I would pull both front seats.
  4. I was able to get the console out, but it was far more work than k_m's instructions. I had a buddy help me and it took more screws to get the console out. There is a surround and then the internal plastics to the console. FYI, it's so complex that I can't write the instructions again .
  5. He wouldn't need the sensor. However, he could chose between the inexpensive reset tool (which he can use later) or a new band. He wouldn't need to buy the band if it was already installed on a used wheel w/sensor. Hope that make sense....
  6. Another option for a used wheel is www.car-part.com This provides access to a database of salvage yard parts all over the country. You would be looking for a great A wheel. You can ask them if they include the sensor if it was on the car. Good luck!
  7. Thanks you SO MUCH k_m, this is exactly what I needed. I think while I have this out, I'm going to do the light in the cupholder mod. I'll dive into this tonight, I had taken out quite a few screws and the thing wouldn't budge. The seats are so tight to the console on this vehicle! Thanks again, I really appreciate it!
  8. Long time, no posting for me! I love my 2008 Edge, it's a great car. I need to pull out the center floor console, I took out a number of bolts and it doesn't move. I would appreciate help on this, as I need it out by tomorrow evening. Thank you to anyone that can help!
  9. Sorry about your accident! I'm also fairly certain that this car is not totalled. The unibody is in clear view on the bottom 2 photos. The inner fender pan is crumpled, but the unibody (many people refer to this as the frame) appears that it didn't take a bad hit. If anything, it may have gotten pushed upward based on the photos of the front. The fender to door fit on the passenger side looks fairly normal. Regardless, if the unibody is pushed up or over a little it won't take much to pull it back. The OEM parts for the Edge aren't really that expensive, compared to other models. This car appears to need a radiator support (bolt-in), both headlights, grille, inner fender sheetmetal, air cleaner, hood (it may be repairable), left fender, front bumper cover, possibly radiator/AC condensor/fans. I also can't see if the airbags are blown. That would drive the estimate up big time. Good luck. This car can be fixed nicely by an experienced auto body shop. It will look as good as new!
  10. I have the exact same problem on my 08 with the tan interior. I hope someone has a solution they can provide.
  11. Nice looking car! Black is the sharpest (in my opinion) color, but it's the hardest to keep clean. Glad to hear you got a good deal. Going from your truck, the mileage will probably please you
  12. Doug, I'd recommend using www.car-part.com to find your headlights. Car-Part clearly shows the 3 headlight types that you refer to. I also repair cars (rebuildables) and I use this site for my used parts. It's a database of salvage yards all over the country. Good luck, the site listed: (halogen), w/o adaptive aiming; R. (halogen), w/o adaptive aiming; L. (halogen), w/adaptive aiming, w/o Lincoln insignia; R. (halogen), w/adaptive aiming, w/Lincoln insignia (Limited pkg), R. (halogen), w/adaptive aiming, w/o Lincoln insignia; L. (halogen), w/adaptive aiming, w/Lincoln insignia (Limited pkg), L.
  13. Derek, What a nice offer. I'm sure the electrical diagrams and info will appeal to some people on the site.
  14. I have an 08 SE FWD up here in WI. I've had them both and I got a great deal on my creme brule Edge. We're getting hammered with snow right now, but the Edge gets around decently. Not as good as the AWD would, but there is less to go wrong and the mileage is better!!
  15. I didn't get the harness yet, the fog lights are not hooked up. It's winter here, so I'm going to wait until spring to hook things up.
