  1. Hi. Can you post pics of finished product? I would love to see how this turned out...
  2. Hi, I have a 2013 limited and installed everything all the way up to the LOC to the amp. I am not getting signal from the rca into the amp. I tapped into factory sub wires after factory amp and am getting nothing. Anybody else have this problem?
  3. OK so update... I have installed the power wire through the firewall to my amp, grounded the amp, and have spliced into the stock sub speaker wire and installed a loc. I ran rca from the loc to the amp and am not getting signal. Anyone else have this issue? I can't figure out what is wrong. I reconnected the factory sub and it works fine and I know the amp is good and has good ground. I also used a new pair of rca cables and a brand new loc. What is the problem here PLEASE HELLLPPPP! LOL
  4. Lol I know right! I don't mind running the LOC off of existing wired as I've done it many times before. I just didn't know if that was OK to do with these newer cars or would it interfere with any of the newer modules or noise cancellation systems or anything like that. I don't want to splice anything that I will later find out was not the bset way of doing it and needing to later reconnect factory wires you know.
  5. Hi all, I have recently ditched my 2012 Chevy equinox and gotten myself a 2013 edge limited with the Sony system. I would like to install my aftermarket amp and 12" sundown that's in a prefab box. It sounded great in the Chevy and I know it will sound even better in the edge with the Sony H/U. My question is... is it OK to just locate the factory sub speaker wire after the factor amp and splice a LOC right into my own amp? Does anyone have any better suggestions? I am not looking to do anything too special just want more bass than what the factory system offers. I will most likely replace most of, if not all of the mids and highs as well down the road which will probably require a separate amp.
  6. Has anyone solved this issue? I was thinking of locating the wiring and installing a rocker switch that I can mount into the dash? Sounds good!, but will it work? Has anyone tried?
