I will definitely be going with Motorcraft Strut mounts, this is my wife's car, she does prefer a smoother ride, so I May stick with Motorcraft, and yes I have seen the wheels do make a difference in struts, I called the local Ford parts store for the Motorcraft parts. Surprisingly it's only $289 for shocks, struts, and strut mounts, all Motorcraft. I know that you have stated to go with the moog sway bar links, is that because the Motorcraft is inferior or the moog is just a better option?

I know there is a lot of discussion on here about replacing struts and shocks, but I'm curious to see which way to go... are the KYB's any better than Motorcraft? I can get OEM Motorcraft for about $50 cheaper than KYB, so is it worth the money or stick with Motorcraft. I'm looking at struts, Motorcraft strut mounts, and shocks. Thanks!

Ya I just called dealer and with my discount from the company I work for, one so how sensor is still $143 haha, I do not see any grease, dirt, or corrosion. I think I will follow your advise and pick up a Dorman and just replace it.

I have an issue with the reverse aid sensors in my 2011 edge with my ford touch. I've searched and not really found an answer, every time I back up i have a sensor on left rear that goes off without anything behind it, no obstructions, or debris on sensors. The distance light lights up green on the far left quadrant only and never increases sound or color, but alarm goes off almost every time. It was doing it last fall, then over winter it didn't do it hardly ever and now it's warm, it's back! Is it a drifted sensor or?? Kinda lost, also the local dealer said it was about $160 for ONE sensor, is that correct???

Just ordered the valve cover and pcv valve. So we will see how it looks, I'll get photos of the old part and the new part to see if there is any physical difference. It has been superseded 3 times so I am guessing it is updated for sure.

while reading around the interwebs, it looks as if the valve cover in question is the front or left side as referred to by ford, for the fresh air intake on the PCV system, i looked at some photos of the rear or right valve cover and it is empty inside, i do not see any baffles, does this seem correct?

I was replacing the spark plugs on my 2011 edge this weekend and found a puddle of oil in the intake tube to throttle body, also found a lot of oil in the upper intake plenum and down inside intake. I know the pcv valve is shot, I removed it and it's nasty, so I am going to replace it. But the oil in the intake tube is from the vent tube on the front valve cover, what would cause this? I've read some stuff about a tsb on the valve cover baffles, but that is just on the eco-boost models right? Or would the bad pcv valve cause that much oil? Any advice is appreciated.

Yes they wipe 3 times, and courtesy wipe. I also verified that for sure the pump does not run on front at all.

Thank you for the fast response! I will ohm out the wiring tomorrow. I was not certain if the wiper motor was more likely at fault than the multifunction switch, but I will ohm out as you specified and see what I find and post back

When trying to spray front washer nozzles the pump does not run, but when spraying rear nozzle it sprays fine, ford dealer told me it was a bad pump, replaced it and still no front pump! Also I can't find any fuses or relays for the front pump, the rear has a fuse and relay, but no fromt. Any help is appreciated! Thanks
