Took my car to the dealer with black screen of death, they wanted me to pay almost $900 to replace the APIM, I said no, and paid $100 for the diagnostics. The next day my battery died, replaced that, a few days later my Ford Touch screen is back working like a charm. Think it was related to the battery, wish I never wasted money/time at the dealer!

Followed one users advice spraying BRAKE CLEANER where the door latch is. Had to spray quite a bit a few times the first couple days, now going on a week with no issues. Thank you, this actually works, finally!
