  1. I have a two month old 2015 Edge Titanium, and I've only put on 2000 miles, and had to come to the forum to search this when my vista roof failed Sunday, just before we got our first rain in L.A. I ended up having to brute force the roof closed, and am not 100% sure what to do with it. I guess I need to take it in, but I can't be without the car for 13 days(!). I just put on Mact's maintenance video, but that's something I would consider doing myself if this was 2030 and I just bought the car used. Part of the reason I bought a NEW car was so it would JUST WORK, and I wouldn't have to taker things apart myself. I'm loving the car, but I love driving with the sunroof open. This is a major league bummer. And I'm with lpgao. I think we speak different languages, but those initialization instructions barely make sense to me. I honestly have no idea what I'm supposed to do in Step 4.
  2. Where is your phone? If your phone is in the same pocket as your key, the key will not work. Same if it's in the same pocket as a USB charger. And I imagine there are possibly many more electronic devices that would cause similar interference. It drove me crazy the first time it happened.
  3. I jumped onto the forum today to look for this exact thing. I was at a do-it-yourself carwash today with my 2015, and while I was high-pressure-soaping near the front doors, the liftgate suddenly opened. I have no idea what would have caused it, but now I'm panicked that it might do this same thing when going through a full size mechanical carwash and I wont be right there to close it. Not good!
  4. iOttie Easy One Touch 2 I got this last week and it's on sale today, so grab it! I tried a vent mount, after reading this thread, and the vent flaps are far too loose to not flop with the weight of the phone, so I got this iOttie, which is an update of a mount I've used for a couple years. I like that it's a sticky gel suction. It absolutely stays put until you want to remove it, and then there is no residue. This one also comes with a flat, smooth gel mat, that is just barely larger than the diameter of the mount sticky, to assure that you have a good flat surface to stick to. I have mine on the left front of the dash pop-up storage compartment; it doesn't impede operation/use of the compartment. I like that it puts the camera in a good position to record the road ahead, and the mount also rotates up, easily, so I can live stream while I drive. (I keep my phone horizontal for Waze, but rotate up for FB live video stream.) Also, it doesn't block the windshield at all. a tiny center-lower portion of view is blocked, but it's a tiny, unnoticeable portion of window view.
  5. I just got a new 2015 Titanium last Sunday, and I'm averaging 15mpg on streets in L.A. Vegas trip this weekend, so I'm looking forward to seeing what I get for open highway miles. Coming from a 2004 Scion xB, averaging 28mpg, I'm really going have to figure out altering my driving style. I don't hard accelerate, and I'm not a speeder - I guess I'm just on the gas more than I need to be. So, 9 months in, what are your thoughts about your Edge?
