  1. Last night my 2008 Edge 3.5L would crank but not start. I had it towed home. This morning I go out to read code but try to start it first, vehicle started fine. Checked codes and there are none. Code reader Autel AL519 It was 40 degrees last night battery is good engine cranks over fine but would not start.

  5. This will happen on almost every vehicle that the battery is not maintained. Battery terminals should be cleaned and treated to stop the corrosion. There are different ways to seal it to slow down/stop this from happening. Surprised the towtruck driver didn't clean them for you. Look in your owners manual for Battery, mine is on page 301 for the 2008 models.

  7. Isn't a law in California that any trailer over 2000lbs must have trailer brakes?
  8. I need to install a Prodigy Brake controller for my tent trailers brakes. I can convert the 4 pin to a 7 pin but still need to get the brake pedal input to the controller. Do I have to splice in a wire or is ther a harness to install? Thanks Matt
  9. Hello Mountain Tripper I just purchased 2008 Edge with tow package and need to install a brake controller for my 2005 Fleetwood Yuma that has electric brakes. Where did you connect the brake wire for the controller or is there a wire harness I can use. Thanks for the help. Matt
