Hey fellow Edge-ers!! Had a bit of a mishap with the brake system on my Edge so, I'm looking for some body parts if anyone has them laying around or a connection/lead to where I might find them. I'm located in N. I'm searching for a couple body parts if anyone has some laying around! Haha I have an 07 Edge, SEL, the awesome orange color! Need a passenger front fender, passenger front door, and passenger mirror assembly.

I just replaced my TSS and OSS sensors this past weekend. My 07 Edge had developed the symptoms that many have had. Shuddering/shaking/vibration under normal load or while climbing an incline. Took me about 2 hours to do it. If you are at all mechanically inclinced it's very much a DIY job. I picked up the parts at the local dealer for around 113. You can find repair instructions all over the internet but, you don't necessarily have to follow them to the letter when it comes to removing other parts, hoses, etc. Only things I removed were the entire airbox, shifter cable clip, and hard trans line at top of trans. Once that was out of the way it was smooth sailing. Only thing you might not be able to do is reset/clear the KAM. The dealer told me that disconnecting the battery and then connecting the cables together doesn't actually clear it. I'm a BMW/MINI tech so I'm not sure if that's accurate or not. (Perhaps if there is a Ford tech on here they could confirm?) I have a diag/scanner so I was able to do it that way. During the drive home it was an instant improvement. No more hard shift from 1st to 2nd and no more shudder!!

MACBWT is correct. I posted this in another thread but will share here as well just in case. I have an 07 Edge and was having similar issues. While accelerating up the slightest incline giving little pedal depression the vehicle would shake/shudder/vibrate. It would also do it at cruising speeds 50-60MPH. I'm a tech so I have the ability to check and go fairly in depth for diag. Come to find out, the engine was NOT the problem. The guilty part/parts were the TSS and OSS in the trans. Got the 2 sensors for about 113 bucks from the local dealer and did the repair. FYI, if you do this yourself and look up repair instructions, you don't have to do everything in them as far as removing parts/hoses/etc.! Took me about 2 hours to replace the sensors, fluid, and then hook up my scanner and clear/reset the KAM. Drove home and not only is the hard shift from 1st to 2nd gone, the shudder/shake/vibrate issue is also gone!! Hopefully this helps someone who is having the same issue before they go throwing unneeded parts on their Edge. Info on my Edge for comparison to others: 2007, SEL, FWD, 190k miles.
