  1. Greetings Nick....Like you I have H&R Springs on my '17 Sport, also I just fitted the Addco rear sway bar a few weeks back. About two weeks after the bar went on I start getting a noise from the rear end..Into the shop it goes and the guy who looks at it reckons it is a shock bottoming out making the noise. So it looks like I have the H&R Shock problem which you pointed out some time ago on the forum. Can you give me a ballpark estimate as to how long after you fitted the H&R Springs your shocks went out?   This would help me figure out if mine have indeed crapped out on me.

                                         Thanks,   Alan

  2. I have this 'Bonk' also..coming from the rear end also. Started about 2 weeks after I had the Bar installed.I can not get under the car to take a look because the H&R Springs have made it impossible to get my fat head under the car to take a look...Did you figure out what is causing yours Roots?
  3. Finally got my bar installed last week..combined with the H&R Lowering springs the set up on my Edge is greatly improved. Good call Special K & SNMJIM !
  4. Thanks for the feedback guys...My wife just got an Edge and she was told this by the salesman at the Ford dealership. It seemed weird to me....
  5. I just got told not to run my Edge through a car wash....it may break the Antenna off. Anybody know if this is correct info??
  6. Xtra...looking forward to your evaluation of the SB at the stiffer setting.
  7. I second roots57 recommendation for the Atturo AZ 850'S...Im running mine at 38psi and once you get 'em heated up they become nice and 'grippy'..They are HP Summer tires, so bear that in mind if you have to deal with cold winters.
  8. Xtra....Congrats on the install!...How long did it take? I will have to have a shop do mine and I would like to have a good idea as to the length of time for the install so they dont pad the labor cost (which is up around $125 per hour)
  9. Thanks for the great info and pics Roots57..Very helpful! Excited to hear that you could immediately feel the difference.
  10. The above post from me should have said: Thanks for the info on the lateral locks Extra. Much appreciated...
  11. Mine just got the charge posted too..so things are happening...I might hold off on fitting the bar until some feedback comes in from other forum members re. which setting to go with..I will be paying a shop to fit mine so I want to make sure I get it right first time.
  12. Update on Atturo AZ 850's : I put 4 of these tires on my Edge (21") on the recommendation of forum member Roots57 back in January..I liked them, seemed to be a great deal for $525 delivered. Up here in the SF Bay Area where I live the weather has been fairly mild up until the beginning of this month, we have just started to get some sustained hot weather in the 75 - 85F range...This has brought about a serious improvement in the performance of the Atturo's..Lateral adhesion is greatly improved, braking distance is better and the tire just seems to have more 'bite' overall. Not surprising really - it is sold as a HP Summer tire. So the upshot here is if you want these tires to perform.....ya gotta get some heat into 'em.
