The mileage is 125000 and the car is regularly serviced (yeah...I know...that does not answer the question of "when the last transmission fluid happened"... :-)

My 2008 AWD Ford Edge appears to have "sticky" transmission in cold weather only. If car is standing outside in low temperatures for long period, the beginning of the ride is troubled with transmission not willing to shift to second gear revving up the RPMs. After period of a minute or so all resolves. It never happens in warm weather or even if car is standing in garage in winter. Any advice on what could cause that and whether there is is any simple remedy? Thanks for advice.
