I've been looking for door sill protectors that still allow the illuminated "Edge" to show through. The soft material on both sides of the steel plate get dirty really easily. The only ones I found, cover up the illuminated "Edge". What are y'all using?

All I can say is I've had it on four vehicles, most recently on my F-150 Platinum for about 4 years and I never had to use a sun shade, and I park uncovered at work. It's nano-ceramic. To each his own. I didn't mean to hijack this thread.

It's tint for your windshield basically. But a hundred percent legal and clear. You can see the difference between the color of the windshield and the uncovered area they cut out for the registration sticker.

Just picked up my 2018 Ruby Red Sport with the 401A pkg couple of days ago. Loving the power! Husky mats arriving today. Now I need to figure out how to mount & hard wire my V1 detector.

I just picked up my Sport, but on all my other vehicles I've added the nano ceramic coating to the windshield. Makes a huge difference I our Hot Texas heat. Sport's getting it done on the 19th. It was only $200 for the front windshield.
