WOW ! what motor are you using this on? a 2.0 ? thats a 2 qt. filter used them on my fe stuff in the 60's. bringing up an old thread.

snap on has sockets, impact and standard that grip the whole nut, no just the edges . they work great for thi application !!

they help light up the ditches on the sides of the road. im surprised the hid's are pretty good .will still replace the bulbs with night stalker osrams. worked better than stock in my 13 limited . ordered the download from 4d tech. dont have forescan. will raise the lamps just a bit.

do you leave all those plastic closeout that are underneath the late model edges,? i live in the salt belt of illinois. my 13 had only 2 that ran along the rockers. my 20sel hides everything. went to change the oil and couldnt figure out where i was gonna put the hoist arms. probably not gonna put the engine undercover back on. suck more heat away. do they think we are gonna save that much in mileage? just my rant , what do you guys do with all that dirt and snow catcing plastic crap?!!

i know its not legal but does anyone run their foglamps with high beams ? ive been doing this for years with my trucks and mountaineers. makes a heck of a difference in visibility at night. my 20 sel is the first edge with fogs. i dont have forescan but there is a download from 4d tech. im not computer savvy and am old so a lot of stupid questions will be asked. had a 13 limited we loved. should have kept it. thank you ! irv ps- the f150 guys have always called this mod--bambi mode.

just trying to see what you use in these motors. ive been using valvoline advanced in my other stuff. have a 16 F150 with a 5.0di motor too. nt trying to start an oil thread ,but had heard maybe pennz ulta platinum 5-30 might be a good choice for intake valves. thanks for any help. damn ford for taking away the 3.5!!

was wondering if you can use 87 octane in the turbo motors. they call the 2.0 a premium fuel motor. was think about a 19 or 20. maybe rethinking keeping my 13 w/3.5. what do yo guys run. hope i could post this here. thank you--irv

i really like my 13 and am wondering ,after reading all the problems, if i should kee what i have. cant get chrome wheels anymore and i dont like anything with blackouts. im old and old school. not even gonna gain much in mileage anprobably more problems than i want. been a ford guy all my life, but im startin g to lok at some gm sus's.

have a 13 limited 3.5 that has given me NO problemc in 89000 miles. thinking about a 19 titanium , but hate 4 cyl motors, and havent read alot of good about the 2.0 reliiability . would i be better off with an st with the 2.7? dont need the performance, but drivtrainwise would i have more piece of mind ? thanks for any input. irv

can a 820s filter be used on a 3.5 ? would give a little more capacity. gasket size and center threads look the same as a 500.

will ford bring out a navigation card beyond the A10 ? anyone know when it might be ? thank you !--irv

installed the nightbreaker bulbs today. will find out in a little while while if they are worth it. i didnt know the low and high beams are controlled by a shutter system till today, when i heard it. i have a can am spyder rts with this arrangement. will have a verdict tomorrow.

did you find the cbi bulbs better than oem ?

the only specs i found was on a review. low and high beam specs listed cool blue- 720 and 1320 laser 1310 and 1610 havent found a good enough price to switch yet. when i have the h/ls out i might try shimming the left one out just a little to the left just an fyi-sylvania is a part of the osram network. some of their bulbs are actually osram.

not really wanting blue tint bulbs. the lasers seem to have far better specs, especially on low beams.

my thought too, but i live inthe snow, rust capital of America. its called nw illinois. it gonna catch and collect a lot of crap that you cant reach from the car wash. have to take one off and see. i only have a midrise lift at the shop instead of a 2 post , so i cant look in from the middle.

i have a 13 edge limited with the xenon factory h/l's[d3s] have them adjusted as good as they can get per factory adjustment[up and down only] . would the night breaker laser ds3's be any better. im not going to try any exotic setups, just am reading the lighting upgrade specs on these bulbs. thanks for any input.--irv

no, im talking about the long plastic runners along both rockers [around 5 feet long held in by push retainers. 12-18" wide.almost like an underbody closeout. some one must have seen these under their car.

any auto parts store should have them . i buy them im box of 50 . i get the mid length for most of the jobs at the shop.

not for aerodynamics and mileage ? how about snow and salt gathering in the winter?
