  1. Ok, ditching the Edge. Rims and tires for sale, intake for sale, SCT BDX for sale. Only have an ad up for the rims so far.
  2. Everybody needs a win, here and there. Lol! Nice work on the structurally appropriate mold!
  3. Yes, I gathered all that, but you havnt actually put it in a car yet? C'mon meow!!!
  4. Ohhh, its an adapter, not a whole bottom airbox!! Could I run this with your lower? Like a mad man!!
  5. Well, Looks like Im going to have to buy this version too. Lol
  6. Thermo-Tec 13575 Adhesive Backed... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0844NGHS6?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share One of these does the whole bottom. I used acetone for surface prep, and Thermo-Tec 12005 Spray-On Adhesive - 16.75 oz. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B000P76ES0/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_RK2R0ZKP0G9PDFR7DMEE To try and stick it real good. Lol Time will tell. I had shears and an Exacto knife setup, a couple of flathead screwdrivers for tucking. If I had to do it again, I'd probably scuff up roughly, the box bottom first. Then clean and hose down with glue, lol
  7. Oh geez, cool tec or some shiz. Whatever @Xtrarecommended, lol.
  8. This is on my 2015 Edge Sport AWD. Airbox takes a bit of manipulation to clear the Large locking connector at the drivers side fuse box, besides that, fit right in. Old K&N drop in filter was pretty clogged, and had large debris on it, so right off the bat, this is going to breathe better, not to mention the much larger volume of filtered air. Going to run it today/tomorrow, then probably reflash my tune and see if the ECU can learn anything better with this airbox.
  9. Well, finally wrapped it. Just have to clear the drain holes out, and she should be good. Not the best job I've ever done, lol, but it'll work.
  10. Oh geez! I've had it for months now, never installed it!! I need to get on that!!
  11. Popped a P0430, and its sticking. Bank 2 Cat low efficiency. Im going to change that rear O2, and start looking at going catless. Also P05A1 which is an active grill shutter position code. I still have the motor plugged iirc, i forget. Going to have to look in this build thread, lol. Also Northstar battery ate it. I didnt do a proper BMS reset iirc. Swapped in an XS Power agm. Same upsize
  12. Oh, and body shop commented on the CF intake cowl! Additionally, they started asking questions. "SO what all did you do to this? Lol" They got excited over seeing the aftermarket parts on it, lol
  13. Hit and run damage. It's not much, but WTF man. In my cul de sac, over thanksgiving weekend. Douchery SOrry for the terrible lighting. A buddy of mine owns a body shop, got me a fresh OEM bumper, installed my aftermarket lower grill, paint matched, all that good stuff. Took him 5 days to get the bumper, then it was done. So a week total. Once I get back from Xmas, I'll finally wrapp the @Xtra airbox and install it!!! I need to do an oil change too, lol Im going to clean the two grounds on the frame under the airbox as well. I need to do all the driveline fluids. Rear diff, transaxle, PTU. I need to do research on that though, what fluids and what not. Cross reference with the owners manual for specs.
  14. Oh geez, i need a new front bumper for my 15'. This may drag out this process, i forgot about part supply issues. Ugh
  15. When I pulled the tires off the edge today, I was like "Hot dayummm, these bad boys are light!!!" I've been dicking around with heavy OEM rims too long, lol!! Plans for the edge, Extra Airbox install. I'm pretty sure I actually bought his first available airbox, lol. Catless downpipes A free flowing exhaust, thats mild (probably the first time I ever tried to be quiet) Maybe an E30 tune Custom Charge pipes, and possibly intake pipes to reach the Extra Airbox. I got a guy, and he's eager to play ball. Right now, my edge is a probably quite a bit quicker than my buddys 3.0tt MKZ, but dead even doing 90 -125 pulls ish. Quite the accomplish ment, coming from 315hp and 4400 lbs, to compete with a 400hp 3900 lbs car.
  16. Thanks for reading into my build! Running 5w30 pennzoil ultra plat now, whipple wants 5w50 iirc. I do like redline fluids though, from my DSM days. The fram full syn filter was a top dog. I need to readdress this. My info is old info, lol. Yeah, my build threads get big, lol. Really, really, loving the Bullitt though. Its great. Too bad its covered for the winter, not going to get it salty. The Edge gets to whip around in the snow. Lol
  17. Its a 2019 Bullitt. https://www.focusst.org/threads/behold-tis-baleen-mcqueen.165024/ About 520 whp on E85 right now, lol
  18. Lol, yeah pretty much. I 've been busy modifying this, so the Edge has been back burner.
  19. 55k, front bearings were making noise, swapped them out. SUPER EASY TO DO!! I have the Xtra Airbox to insulate and install. Car got hit and ran over T-day weekend. Getting it into the body shop next week, ugh. Nothing major, but super annoying.
  20. If I recall correctly, you use Acetone as a cleaner/surface prep before you apply the thermal insulation, something about it changing the character of the polymer of the airbox and allowing a better bond. I had thermo wrapped the airbox in my Focus ST, and besides a little corner touch up, it held great for a real long time.
  21. Gotta pay to play. Made in the USA of domestic and foreign components, ain't as cheap as it used to be, lmfao
  22. You forgot the most important part! ❤ Love!!! Lol Also, cough*parts of an orphan boy*cough, and thats all.
