really why isnt it necessary i know full syn can go for about 7500 miles or so but with the turbo wouldnt you want to change it earlier just bein cautious dont want carbon buildup on turbos you know

question after my first 5000 miles on my edge i had dealer use full synthetic now 5000 miles later i had to bring car in cause i was gettin no engagement when pressin gas turns out i had a trans leak somewhere but was gettin no fluid on ground thats why i had loss of power when accelerating but only had car for 9 months they said it weird but anyway i had oil change scheduled for couple days but while they serviced car they did oil change without me knowing which is fine but they put semi synthetic in after putting full synthetic first time i heard once you put in full syn you have to stay full syn is that true? also will i be able to change back to full synthetic next time around or do have to use semi for now on. tia

do you have a st cause i think this one is for the st i have the sel. i think i have the 8f35 trans this bulletin dont think applys to me. but i dont have harsh engagement from r to d or upshifting problems my problem is its very sluggish when driving after sitting overnight i press gas and doesnt go anywhere but i hear turbo spinning i have to put in in sport mode and drive for a bit before switching back then it drives normally.seems to drive fine after driving for a bit. but last month or so accelerating the car would buck like you were slipping on wet pavement. but now its worse every morning after sitting like i said it wont accelerate unless i put in sports mode for a while.do you think reproprogramming the pcm will help me.

thats 8f57 i have the 8f35 engine 2019 edge sel this doesnt apply to my engine the tsb for me is 19-2331

i think that one is for the edge st i have the sel with 8f35 trans the tsb is 19-2331 i think thats the latest

its actually 19-2313 is the latest will have to flash pcm to see if it helps

Yup mine just started bucking and delayed accel at 9500 miles

Im having same problem bought 19 edge with 10 miles on it drove great up until about 9500 miles or so have About 10,000 now and startin up car after sitting car wont accelerate i hear turbo spinning but car wont accelerate. But after putting it in sports mode for a few and switching back seems to have better response no more lag drove on xpressway no lag nothing seems gets better after u drive for a while. But when u first start it in morning is when it does the bucking and delayed acceleration. Ford told me it could be from goin from regular to premium back to regular could do that just said to stick to just premium or regular dont mix but after reading all these comments i know its not because of that. Cant trade it in owe to much on it so basically just wait till they find a fix i guess

Yes i have 10,000 miles on my 19 edge and started toing the bucking about month ago and slow acceleration can hear turbo spinning but car wont move. Seems its worse first thing in morning but longer u drive it like on xpressway for me it gets better
