  1. Glad you're okay. Looks really good! Where did you get the honeycomb grill? I have an '18 sport and would like to get one of those, but I have the front camera and want to keep that. Anywho...sweeeet!
  2. I've been trying, actually just came in from the driveway messing with forscan. Not that simple. Can't find the specific on off for that function. Thanks anyway
  3. Hey all, I know this is old, but wanted to say that I had the same problem that all of you had with the anc humming. After having it looked at by Ford (and not fixed) I found it somewhere on the internet that there was an update for the ANC. Went back and they did the update (had to pay) and the problem went away. However, in doing that update, it eliminated the artificial/ enhanced engine sound. I (unlike some) absolutely loved that sound. After telling them, and back and forth several times, not only did a Ford engineer say that it's now impossible to restore that feature, they're trying to tell me that my car never had it to begin with!!! ??? I owned the car for 8 months at that point, I was immediately aware that it was gone. Very upset to say the least. So, the hum is gone, but so is the enjoyment that I got from the sound the car used to make.
  4. Hi, glad to hear you were ok after that accident. I wanted to know if the ss tuning body kit gave you any issues with the parking sensors? I wanted to get one for my 18 sport, but had concerns over that. Anyway, the new one looks great! Good luck with future mods and stay safe
  5. So, I've had this 2018 Edge Sport since April. I had the issue with the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) where it would start the low hum while stopped or parked. It happened very randomly, but there is a TSB and factory update through Ford to correct the problem. I had the Dealership do the update, the hum went away like it was supposed to. However, the issue now is that the enhanced/ artificial engine sound (That this car ABSOLUTELY, DEFINITELY, 100% HAD...since I got it 8 months ago) disappeared. Apparently the active noise control update deactivated that. So, I went back to the Dealership, they looked everything over and said they can't help me. Most of them are CLUELESS about the feature in the first place, same with the ANC in the beginning. So I told them that this is unacceptable, it was important to me, I liked the sound very much. And, in performing the update, they took that (a feature of my vehicle that I really liked) away. So, they forwarded the problem to Ford. A week and a half later, they called me and told me that in looking my specific vehicle (build) up by Vin, that my vehicle wasn't ever equipped with this feature!!! Again, I argued that this is ABSOLUTELY, 100% INCORRECT. My wife even commented several times to me while driving with me that "You just like to hear that sound". Referring to the enhanced sound the engine made when I would get on it a little bit. So, they've forwarded it on...yet again, to some other Ford engineer, I feel certain that they are going to tell me the same thing...I'm sure. I'm VERY upset about this. Most people don't like the sound and want to disable it. That's all I can find when I research it. I tried using those conversations and forum advice in disabling it, to re-enable it in my vehicle through Forscan to no avail. So this is basically a last ditch effort to see if anyone out there can help. I liked the fact that it almost sounded like aftermarket exhausts I've had in the past on different vehicles, without annoying people outside. Let alone every iteration of an aftermarket exhaust on the 2.7, I don't think sounds good. Everyone likes different stuff, and I was happy before. They say the update can't be rolled back, and again, claim my vehicle didn't have it in the first place. Sorry if this sounds harsh, but I want to rip somebody's face off. I PAID them to put me in this predicament, now I'm screwed and seem to have no options. Any help is appreciated greatly.
  6. So I haven't been on here in awhile, and I'm not sure if this is how I post a question. Hopefully so. Still the same Main complaint that I had before, got my MPG up to 17.4 just recently, back to 17.1 now. But I drive somewhat "spirited" as they say. I'm 43, I don't drive crazy anymore, but I don't drive slowly either. What my question is...should I be averaging more than 17 MPG? I drive about 50/50 city/ highway miles. I feel like I should be getting way better gas mileage. Tried all the stuff mentioned in this post.
  7. Thank you, I replaced the air charge temperature sensor, rather than cleaning it. Followed the rest processes listed above. No change. Then removed and cleaned. The MAP sensor and reset again...still no change. Actually seems worse, it had been climbing to about 14+, now it's below 10. This has me extremely stressed. I have other issues with this vehicle unrelated to this (3-4 issues!!!) That have all cropped up since I got it not even 2 months ago. I really like the vehicle, had a 2011 Edge Sport before this 2018. Have wanted this for quite a while, and it's been giving me nothing but grief unfortunately. ?
  8. Hey Deathrattle, saw this post and have a 2018 Sport that making a hard grinding only under acceleration, seems similar to what you mentioned and can't find any other mention...anywhere online except for your experience. I was wondering if you were able to get it diagnosed and resolved? Had mine to (2) separate dealerships. First one couldn't duplicate the noise, second said it's normal!!! No...it is DEFINITELY not normal. Anyway, thanks if you can enlightening me al all.
  9. Also, From what I'm reading online, that may open me up to voiding my warranty. Ford could try to say I put a tune on and then took it off and tried to hide it. But people say it's good to reset that, after replacing certain parts so that the vehicle can "re-learn" the new parts. And that seems to make sense. I'm confused, which is it? Don't want to jeopardize the warranty. ?
  10. Thanks for the info. It had 28,700-ish when I changed it, so around 2k miles since. K&N part # 33-5000. Do you know how to perform a KAM reset on this vehicle? Thanks again. ?
  11. Hey all, Just joined. About 2 months ago I purchased a CPO 2018 Edge Sport. Having several problems but I'll start today with this one because they're in separate categories, and I don't want to confuse things. It has just over 30k miles on it now and I decided to change the air filter at approximately 27k. It had been averaging 18.9 MPG at that time. I installed a K & N replacement filter and my MPG went as low as 8.9 MPG!!! (I threw away the original when I installed the K & N.) So, I replaced that with a Motorcraft filter and it creeper back up to as high as 15.2 MPG, but still goes several MPG below that. Had it in the Dealership and they can't find anything wrong...of course. Everything looks fine with the Installation. Can't seem to find anyone else Having this problem. Any advice would be Greatly Appreciated. Thanks in advance if anyone has any insight on this.
