  1. yeah I removed the rear panel and there are six nuts that can be removed but they hold on the plastic molding that has the license plate light in it. It appears that there is some type of post that holds on the emblem, no nut or bolt, so I couldn't figure it out or get my fingers in there. So I gave up and order the vinyl decals. FOr the front you would have to remove the whole grille. There are three bolts that can be removed but without removing the grille forget it. I live my Edge buut what a pain to remove parts...
  2. I had 18" on the SEL and bumped up to 20's. Probably should have gone to 22's. But I think the H&R lowering springs will do the trick for me. I am partial to black rims. I put on MSR"s in black chrome on my black SEL.
  3. I recieved an email back from them. They said that they have never sold an emblem for an Edge or had any requests. He did not even have the exact size. I sent him the sizes for the front and rear. He woould make them if I wanted them but it appears to be a pain to remove them, especially the rear one. So I found a site that makes vinyl decals that cover the logo. I ordered front and back, will let you know how they fir and what they loook like when I recieve them.
  4. They are 265/45R20. I do plan on purchasing the lowering springs and painting the calipers.
  5. What do you think of the new rims. I was looking for a full black rim but these looked so much better. They are MSR 20 x 8.5 with Toyo Proxes ST II

    Steeda install and other mods
  7. Yeah I sent him an email since our emblems were nnot listed. He has not responded back.
  8. I was just surfing around to find some ideas on other mods on my Edge. I found a website that sells different colored ovals. Seems pretty cool if you want to tone down that blue oval. http://planetauto.homestead.com/index.html
  9. I have a 2008 Edge and I have the same problem when running the lights when it is raining. You can't see any of the numbers. The only pain it causes is when cell phone rings you can't see who the caller is........
  10. Hey, Does that shop manual tell you how to remove the foglight bezels. If it does could you please let me know. Thanks
  11. Hey Cannon, What type of rims you got? They look awesome. I am looking to put new rims on my black Edge and want to get rid of the chrome. Have not found a set of black rims that don't have some type of chrome accent on them. They look like Konig's.
  12. I also have an 08 in black. If you use a micro fiber drying cloth it does not scratch the paint, then the clay bar and I use the Nxt 2 and it looks great
  13. I have to say after having installed the Steeda CAI (no tune) and the Gibson exhaust, I really not have seen any boost in HP. I have noticed that there is a lag around 1000-12000 RPM's. Almost done with a full tank of gas since the install and so far it appears that the MPG's are gonna be around 15.5. Mind you that this is all local driving, no highway.
  14. Oh well, it's on now. I had a shop do the installation. Couple slight bends in the pipe and they were done.
  15. Cat-Back Dual Split Rear Exhaust 2007 Ford Edge, 3.5L, FWD/AWD Part #319630 This is right from Gibson
  16. Just a note, you do not have to cut off the stock exhaust. Once you loosen the clamp you can pry it away from the pipe and with a little pulling it comes off. Thank God I didn't cut it.
  17. Hey I got a question. Anyone that put an aftermarket exhaust on. When you take the clamp of in front of the stock muffler does the pipe come right off or do you have to cut it. The one pipe looks like it is crimped on and there is a small screw or bolt into the pipe.
  18. Well I took it for a spin and it seems as though the throttle response is a little better. Entering into traffic also appears to be a little better. Plus it does give it a little throatier sound. I will keep posted on the MPG's
  19. It comes with an inner sleeve that has to be installed if you do not do the tuning. I have not had it out yet. I will let you know if there is any difference. I will probably try and find some chrome or black hose clamps that might make a little difference.
  20. Pics of the fisrt coat of high heat satin black stove paint. Attempted to install the system and guess what, the one rear pipe does hit the rear sway bar on the AWD. I went to a couple of shops and they would not touch the system, stating I could have more allignment problems. So now that it is painted and can't be returned I will have to find another option or search over creation to find a shop that will make that bend in the pipe.
  21. Of course it is, you would think they would give you an aluminum one for what they charge!!!!!!
