  1. I have it somewhere have to look for it.

  2. I am looking to get rid of a Steeda CAI if anyone is interested. I think they are going for $279.00 new. I am in northern New Jersey. I am looking for around $200.00 or BO.
  3. It is a resonater, it cuts down on some of the sound coming out of the exhaust. It is just s plastic box with a couple of chambers. It can be removed by removing the clamps and purchasing some rubber caps. I removed mine and put rubber caps on them. Really doesn't make that much of a difference with it off but it gets rid of that big plastic box.
  4. Were there any changes to the 09 grille from the 08. I am deffinately gonna buy this if it fits the 08
  5. Where did you get the colored OEM grille? Did you have it painted or orcered it from another company. If so could you let me know since I am planning on replacing my grille. I believe the easiest way to remove the grille is to take the front facia off. Once you remove the top bolts near the fan shroud you can only pull the assembly forward and the other botls are beneath the grille and there is no way to get your hand in there let alone a tool. Let me know Thanks
  6. Has anyone ordered any items from vibelights.com. I ordered two interior kits over 10 days ago and have not recieved them or had a response to any emails that I have sent them. Thanks
  7. Thanks they came off with any problems. I just finished painting them. They look pretty cool,
  8. Hey, I just have a question. How the heck did you get them off? I attempted to get them off but it seemed like the tabs that hold them on were going to break. I would be interested if I could get mine off. Thanks
  9. I took off the resonator and just capped the holes with rubber caps. Did not have to glue up anything. Cost like 7 bucks.
  10. I followed the directions to the letter. First direction was to disconnect the battery. Gonna deffinately need the tuner for this mod.
  11. Well I removed the Steeda CAI and put back in the stock air box. What a difference. As soon as I pressed the accelerator you could tell the better throttle response. In my opinion the Steeda is deffinately going to need the tuner. Anyone want to purchase the CAI? LMAO!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Yea, I don't know what it is. If itis the combo or each component separately. The airbox is easy enough to change out, but the exhaust would be a pain to change back and I really don't want to since it sounds good. I will probably purchase the tuner from Steeda with my next patcheck.
  13. I checked it out. There are a couple of companies. Here is one of them. They have headlight and tailight. http://motors.shop.ebay.com/__?_from=R40&a...dge&_sacat=
  14. Well, I just put 20's on my Edge from 18"s. The straps from the 18's would not fit on the 20's so I opted not to put them in. After driving for a while a message came up on the message center sayin tire pressure error. I just hit the reset button and that went away but the idiot light on the dash stays on. I really do not care about that. But I think I will get the bigger straps and have them installed. I don't know your answer to the 38mm wheel and how far it would stick out or if your math if correct. But to tell you My wheels are 38mm offset and they do not stick out. THe tires are 265/45R20. You will deff. get an answer from LEX when he reads the thread. He is very knowledgable when it comes to our vehicles.. Good luck
  15. Yeah either the tuner or I might put the stock airbox in to see what the difference is.
  16. Well I would just like to update on the performance and MPG's after having the CAI and Gibson installed for a few weeks. Scenario: 220 mile round trip on highway. 1) MPG turned out to be 16.8, that's with driving a constant 80-90 MPH 2) Poor passing performance. 3) No low end torque either, you really need to stomp on the pedal 4) When at 60-65 does well to get up to 80-90 more power at higher speeds/RPM 5) Exhaust sounds good at those speeds, just a nice rumbling sound and it can be drown out by the stereo. All in all it would appear that this type of MOD would benefit from the tuner upgrade. Just my thoughts. BTW: has anyone experienced a slight wind noise from the BAMR at highway speeds?
  17. I thought it was just me, even after a wash a wax, clean the windows it actually looks worse. Have to stop using paper towels to clean the windows. The lint gets caught up in there.
  18. Has to be polished before picture taking day.
  19. GOt the overlays for the emblems. Here are a few pics. It also came with one for the little blue oval on the steering wheel.
  20. I was searching around the internet and found some kits for vertical doors. Anyone ever thought of doing this mod to their vehicle. I am thinking about it but have to do some more homework on what it would entail. The kits are around $500 don't know what it would cost to install or if there would been any touchup to the paint on the vehicle. Any thoughts.
  21. Hey, I ordered my kits from retrosolutions and have never had a problem. They work great. Easy to instll just plug and play. No trimming of tabs. I put in the 55w 8000. I have never had an oncoming driver flash me because the lights are too bright and have not had a problem with the police. I live in New Jersey and have full tints and no front plate both which are illegal and have driven past many cops without even a look. I believe that if you drive like an ass you will get stopped, normal driving they don't even bother you.
  22. I just put on 20's from 18's. Running a 265/45R20. There really is not that much of a difference. Nice smooth ride on my Edge. Maybe a little rough if you hit a nice sized pothole but I try and avoid them..
  23. Yup that is the site. Still have not got them yet. FOr twenty bucks if they suck no big deal. If you are gonna wear the blue oval you have to have a silver chain...gold won't cut it......BUt that 9 inch front oval would look kewl...
