ok... installed ground wires and reset the learning curve... sucked for awhile.... now after 3 hours and 200+ miles... its great... shifts smoooooth and still growls.... .mpg still the same though.

turbulence? thats what the air filter does.... lol.. if anything it creates humps in the flow..

traffic jams... 18mpg @ 0-35mph for about an hour.. hwy @ 55-60mph cruise control for 1 hour - 28mpg... awesome... go up to 65mph.. and it goes down to 25mpg..

hmm.. maybe i'll take mine off too... i hate that thing.. so ugly...

just put mine in today and took off the side cone resonator thingie.... i haven't disconnected the battery or removed the main fuse yet... i'm waiting to install a ground on the TB first... so far it sucks... i've been mostly HWY miles on CC @ 55mph for best mileage (the computer says 27.5, mostly mild hills and flat areas)... put it in today and it really takes long to respond... i think if i can reset the learning program... it'll be good.. well.. in my experience anyway. it growls tho !... just that the auto tranny suxx.

(sigh).. i didn't check this site... ordered 6418 6 LED's for the plates... turns out when i opened them to be 194's styles.... where can i put the 6418s???... i can't get the back light off... grr... my focus had 6418's... i wonder how they made the mix up

did u disconnect the battery first? i'd be interested.

hi forum... new to the Edge, but not new to fords, or cars or forums (so yeah.. i'll be sure to use the search button) i come from a ford family, taurus, F150, focus, Explorer, mustang, ranger... bought the Edge in march 08 4 the wife... but I'm letting my father drive my focus.. so customizing has now moved onto the Edge. plans: intake, exhaust, custom mesh inserts into seats, ground wires, strut bar, springs... guage light and console color change (to red or orange).. AF/Volt, temp guages... paint grille black, sport tail lights/headlights.. steeda tuner, high flow cat, and depending on how much time & $... paint matched wheels. not into ICE at all..so ... thats gonna stay stock.. well.. i'm gonna go look around now.. 2008 SEL w/Vista roof, metallic Ice blue... completely stock atm. ... soon to change !
