  1. Has anyone installed this or something similar? Any thoughts on whether it is worth doing or not.... https://www.jxbperformance.com/products/p/ford-edge-2nd-gen-escape-3rd-gen-and-lincoln-nautilus-1st-gen-differential-bushing-insert-kit
  2. @johnmarkp well then please post the code that worked for you for anyone that wants to try it....
  3. I never inadvertently hit it, no issue for me and I like that it remembers the last position. If you ever want to use it for some reason, or take it into Ford it is can be act as it normally would.
  4. WilkiST, I probably have it saved somewhere I'll have to look it up, but the problem was it disables BMS and every single time you start the vehicle you get a warning that you have to acknowledge because the of this. I know you don't like the idea, but honestly one of the best things I did was install it. It took all of five minutes and it works as advertised.
  5. The section below that which has "Transmission Fluid Level Check" also tells you to add a liter after checking and installing back the level plug.
  6. I installed the eliminator a week ago. No problems installing it. As others have mentioned it works as intended.
  7. Yes unfortunately you are right Wubster100. The vehicle would bring up a warning about the battery every time I started the vehicle. I ended up putting it back. Thanks omar302, I will give this a try and see how it goes and let you know. I guess another question I have is should I do a BMS reset since I disabled it and then enabled it back? It is a very new battery, about one month old.
  8. I was able to disable the Auto Start/Stop with the Forscan on my 2023 ST. It had a separate line in the easier worded section just for it labeled something like BSM / Auto Start Stop. There were other BSM items that you could modify so I believe it was just doing that and not disabling the entire BSM module.
  9. drm1harley: I had less fluid than expected in my RDU as well, the amount you mentioned is close to what I experienced. I also put more fluid in than took out in my PTU. My RDU needed changing at 20k. I feel much better that it is done. I bought the vehicle at 18k. I will probably change both as well as a transmission drain (approx. 5 quarts) every 10k from now on for my own peace of mind.
  10. Yes a seal, but I'm not messing with it without a backup. They say you should replace the bolts too if removed (It's a kit with plug and blots). I'm still under warranty, so no matter what I'm good with pulling half of it every 10k and leave it be. Why they couldn't put a drain plug in it...frigging cost savings.
  11. No, mine does not have a cooler. There is a plug where the cooler would go. I tried finding a spare plug but it's often an unavailable part and it's close to $70 if you can find it. I'm not pulling it without a spare incase there is an issue with it.
  12. I found the same on my ST at 20k for the RDU, it definitely needed changing. I bought my Edge used at 18k. I don't have a drain plug for the PTU so I sucked out half the fluid, like you the PTU fluid wasn't bad yet. I also drained 5 quarts of tranny fluid which looked fine. I'm hoping to keep it for the next ten years so I think I might just do the same every 10k as little as it costs.
  13. Yes it's good quality. It's around $70, and there is a coupon code you can use at the top of the website. It has hyperlinks for some things and it's a pdf so you can search. As much as things cost nowadays I think it is a good deal. You will see manual pages quoted to help on this website, they look the same as what I got.
