I think the type of phone makes a difference we have blackberry pearls (till March anyhow) and they pick up so much garbage noise that both of our phones have been thrown accross the room at some point. Can't wait to upgrade this year don't know what we are upgrading to guess we will have to see how bad T-Mobile wants to keep us

Hey all with black friday come and gone I have been thinking about Christmas stuff for my wife and thought it might be cool to get her some Ford Edge gear, (lord knows I have plenty of Mustang and Cobra gear LOL). Anyhow after crawling through every website I can think of I have found a total of ONE UGLY ORANGE HAT!! There has got to be some stuff out there that would make a god gift for my wife besides weathertech floormats (I was told not to get those for Christmas for her for some reason LOL). If any of you have found anything I would appreciate a link thanks Dan

Fourtunatly for us our dealer is in my own words STELLAR!!! the only frown I have about them is our service writer I don't get the warm and fuzzy from him, but he hasn't screwed up yet and I won't drop him untill he gives me a reason to. I will contact the dealer and see what they can/will do for me, also is there a possability that the 8P disk won't work with my Nav because of the age of the unit itself? Thanks for the info this has been the only thing so far that has bugged me about our 08

My brother is a senior master tech for a ford dealership out of CO. I would suggest you go in and talk to your service manager and if he acts like a dip!@#$ then request a new one or better yet talk to a few of them out on the line and when you find one you "click" with request he become your service writer. As for the technician who jacked up your head liner and put it together wrong tell your new service writer that this guy does not touch your vehicle again not even to put the paper floor mats in when they change the oil. Bad service gets no quarter or sympathy from me I just wish I lived in CO still so my brother could do all of my maintenance/repairs. but don't be afraid to fire these clowns that "fix" cars there are good ones out there just keep talking to people till you find a good one. PS: I don't have a warm and fuzzy from my service writer I am gonna give him a chance however I am allready working on making friends of the other writers on the line. Our 08 wasn't bad untill the dealer did the interior finishing touch on it and whatever they put on the dash made the glare horrable. This weekend I plan on using a cleaner on it to take down shine then using a meguires product on it and that should work nicely. The meguires leaves a nice clean look to the dash and plastics without the shiny. hope this helps

Hey all Wife and I have an 08 limited and we are semi frustrated with our nav system. Overall it's great but our old tomtom knew where more POI were located than this one I am not sure what DVD we got with it but I was wondering what the latest and greatest map disk was? Also does anyone know if you could use for example a Garmin or other Nav disk in our system or are we confined to Navteq products. I guess I am just disapointed that a 200 dollar TomTom knew where more stuff was located and was updateable. Thanks in advance

Hey all wife and I bought an 08 Edge limited last friday. We got a great deal cause it is an 08 but we have loved this car since early spring 2008 so worked well for us. (we even got the color we wanted). :happy feet: Any how now that we have it I am looking to replace the factory camel floor mats ASAP!!!!! cause after one road trip over memorial day weekend the factory mats are looking grimy allready. I have been looking at the WeatherTech mats and cargo floor pan and they seem really good. I was wondering if any of you have a brand/style that you prefure for whatever reason. Next I was looking last night and where my rear seats bolt to the floor boards there are plastic covers on the outboard mountingplates that look nice, however there are no covers on the inboard mounts so if you look all you see is the black metal plate and the stud holding the seat in place. Now it seems to me that there should be a cover of some kind especially for a limited. If any of you can answer this for me I would appreciate it (Service writer told me there was no cover for them but I am not sure I beleave him I just met my assigned writer today). Lastly I am looking to have a 2" receiver hitch installed and I have read some are nicer than others. Any thoughts/opinions on this one are appreciated as well. Any how thanks in advance for any thoughts you guys have on this stuff and if you see an Ice Blue Edge Limited running around San Diego thats us. Dan

Hi everyone just thought I would stop by and check out the place. As the description says Wife and I just bought an Ice Blue Metalic 2008 edge limited and man what a wonderfull car/truck (lol still not sure what to call it) We took it on a 1000 mile road trip over Memorial day weekend up the California coast and it ran teriffic. We are learning how to use the Sync system and the voice Nav system. Plans are matching window tint for the front driver and passenger windpws and black monogramed floor mats ASAP so we don't destroy the camel ones. Hope to get to know a few of you out there and hope you all have a great day. Dan
