  1. Your Dealer needs to read the TSB number 07-16-11 roof opening rattle / squeak We do not use double stick tape anymore. It just plain never worked. The new system uses velcro hook and loop tabs and a gel adhesive. It works. Richard and Barbie

  3. Uh, no thats the Satellite ant for the Sirius radio receiver. http://www.brandmotion.com/manuals/Ford_Ed...nstallation.pdf
  4. The GPS ant. is located under the dash. The small sensor on the dash is for the headlight control ( autoheadlamps) and the digital climate control. The large box behind the mirror is for the electronic compass sensor.
  5. No. The am/Fm antenna on the edge is designed for the am/fm band only. It also contains an amp in the base of it for those bands only. The connector is also not the same as what your Roady needs. The satellite antennas that are used for xm are not that large. I have mounted them on the dash towards the front of the windshield and they usually work just fine.
  6. The smart junction box must be programmed for daytime running lights. Its not a tough job at all. The older Five Hundreds ( 2005) were a pain because they had to be tricked into thinking they were a 2006 0r 2007. The dealer just needs to call the Tech Hot line and get the info. Northern Nevada and Northern California dealers have done several daytime running lights with no problems. I changed both of our Edges in less than 30 minutes.

  8. Yes it can be done. Cabin Air Filter A cabin air filter is available as standard equipment on dual-zone EATC vehicles. EMTC vehicles are not equipped from the factory with a cabin air filter, but are equipped with a screen in place of the filter to prevent any large foreign material from entering the heater core and evaporator core housing. The cabin air filter or screen can be accessed by removing the glove compartment and removing the cabin air filter access cover. A cabin air filter can be installed as a dealer accessory on vehicles not originally equipped with a filter, but only a screen or a filter should be installed, never both. Filter is located behind the glove box
  9. Yes its on page 107: When loading the luggage rack, it is recommended to evenly distribute the load, as well as maintain a low center of gravity. Ensure that the load is securely fastened. The maximum load for the roof rack is 100 lbs (44 kg). You will need to have your dealer order the crossbars also.
  10. The parking aid has its on module and speaker located in the left rear panel.
  11. If your talking about the large box behind the mirror with its own seperate connector....thats the electronic compass unit. Not sure that the button does anything .
  12. Yes that is correct. They will do a vin check on the vehicle. Went to DMV this morning to do the Light Sage Edge from Nevada. Still have to get a smog check.
  13. California DMV will check the sticker located on the upper left part of the hood. If it says complies with ULEV tier II california then its good to go. Just need the smog check. If the vehicle has over 7500 miles on it also then its ok with a smog check. I will check this out as I am registering a new Light Sage Sel plus from Nevada next week.
