Bump!

If VFords is still around, here's one. It sounds like the 2010 Edge's have a unit that is equiped with the capability to have a rear view camera but Ford doesn't offer that option on the Edge for some reason, apparently though they do offer an aftermarket solution for $800 or something. Supposedly the unit though has an input on the back that would accept a camera, however you need a specific cable to connect to the Pins on the back. Any idea what the part number is? I know in my Lexus RX330 (not a visor system but rather the homelink is connected to the upper dash, kind of where the sunglasses storage unit is on the Edge) it definitely works with the car off.

Duh ... maybe the "SoCal" emblem may give me a slight hint as to where you live!!

Lex, does this work with the factory installed Navigation system? I just bought my wife a new Ford Edge Ltd AWD (2010) and while it comes with a rear sensor alarm (or whatever it's called) I really wanted a rear camera. How easy is it to install? Any ideas as to whether it will hold up in the winter time? (sorry, don't know where "westsiiiide" is exactly as I live in Toronto, Canada! )

Looks like this thread may have died off, just purchased a 2010 Ford Edge AWD in black leather and didn't go with the after market DVD headrets (dealer wanted $2300 CDN) and didn't want to wait for the Ford ones as I'd have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for the vehicle on custom order. Saleens7/NYEdge, how have yours held up? Is it pretty simple for anyone to install? Wondering how the LCD screens compare to the Ford OEMs. Thanks!

Hey all, Just bought a new 2010 Ford Edge AWD Ltd in white (some fancy white that for some reason cost more than the other paints). 20" Upgraded Rims/Wheels Navigation Cargo Remote starter Panoramic Roof Picked it up for my wife and 2 year old. Also own a 2004 Lexus RX330 (also in white, love the white with tinted glass for some reason!). Pick it up on Thursday. Looking forward to it. STeve
