ok now for those that bought a painted one from the dealer....,,,, even with the seven coats of paint i got my first small ding, yes i see chrome....i do alot of highway and was wondering if the dealer ones hold up to dings, rocks, etc, better?

i spoke to a dealer on this and there are patches, so they call it, to download into the puter that sharpen the gear shifting... takes about 2 hours to perform, all under warranty...make your appointment...i havent done it yet.......if ya do tell me if it works out any better...............

nice..!!! i kinda wish for the awd now..dont like the hanook tires that came with it....seems i need a better tire for chitown in the winter....anyone have suggestions?

the one i got from sabtaj....wet sanded the hell out of it...3 coats of adhesive primer....2 coats of filler duplo primer...had to fill a couple of rock pits , that was the hard part...3 coats of a satin duplo color...but then didnt like the shinyness of it so i wet sanded again , hit it with another coat of adhesive primer and opted for the duplo bumber coating which gave it a flatter look which i liked better....2 coats of that...Ill tell u what , it did help alot having it out of the edge for wet sanding and such, then having it ready to pop in...so it was great to have the extra one...later on I will pass the help and offer my old one out so someone else can do the same....

i love it...thanx to sabjab1...it was alittle bit of work getting it off...but well worth it........

what entails with poppin that grill out? lots of screws, and tricks to it?

from what i understand the 2007 had problems with trans and a cooler was added in 2008...if u look in the front u will see the addition, mine a 2009 se has it and im sure yours does as well...looks like a small radiator mounted on drivers side in front of engine radiator...

ive seen others that have turned the chrome into black ( murdered) and such, but want to know if they sell a simple black bars to replace the chrome bars instead of painting them or vinyl covers..? ive seen custom painted ones for 179 bucks but want to know if anyone knows a site that has a replacement cheaper...flat black would be perfect.........kinda want to keep the chrome one hung up in the garage incase i dont like it.......thanx, EdgeDog

so far ive found an suv tent that fits and they make a doggie mattress for it...woof!!!

I bought this knowing me and hun would get busy in the back...my bro has a voyager that fits a queen blow up mattress perfect, but a queen is too big for the edge...anyone know where i could find a perfect match?weve done simple comforters but a nice low profile air mattress would be better....any suggestions?

when i did my first one, i said the same thing....WOW!!!! no mess.....

upon closing the back hatch, i noticed the spoiler (WITH THE THIRD LIGHT) whiggle a bit....its not loose or nothing but was just wondering if others are super tight? im sure there is rubber grommets and such but just got my curiousity going on if others have a little play to it...

Doing a rotation of the tires , I noticed after taking off the front tires , that the hub has no caps on it exposing the nut that holds them on...is this correct? now i know i my older cars there is a cap u tap on or off to keep out mosture but there is none on the edge...anyone every take off their front tire and see this too? just wondering if it was serviced before and they are missing...any info would help...thanx.... I bought mine in july and was getting 24.1 to 25.8 mpg..same travel to work and such mostly highway..But I notice now in the winter here in chicago that I have dropped to 19.8 to 23.4 is the best I get..I have garage and dont use much warmup time...I drive like a wuss....lol..no leadfoot here...

thats the prob!!! i used that also...in chicago its ok but i cant stand the blem!!! funny ive used it on pass cars with no problem....im gonna take a rag with thinner and try to remove my blem...yes i know, watch the paint...its drivin me nuts....thanx...E.D.
