my check engine light came on the other day and it needed an oil change so when i took it for an oil change they checked out the engine light and came back with camshaft sensor bank 2. He then reset the engine light and said if it comes back on to get it fixed and it shoudl be covered under warranty. What kind of problems can the camshaft sensor bank 2 cause? I haven't noticed any change in the way the edge drives.

Yeah she agrees. Says her factory tires are doing just fine. So she'll probably stick with those. And she clarified with me last night, her dad said no studs on crossovers, It has nothing to do with AWD. Sorry. Still though i haven't heard of that. I know trucks don't usually get studs. Is it related? I on the other hand totalled a maxima due to slipping on ice. I'm sticking with my studded winter tires every winter on my SHO. They make take longer to stop on wet and dry roads but you can't stop at all on ice so i'm taking the safest route possible. Studs give you a chance at least

So my girlfriend just bought a ford edge and while she used to put studded winter tread tires on her grand am every winter she no longer has that car and her dad said since the edge has AWD its not good to put studded tires on it. I've never heard this and he just be B/S'n her, but maybe theres some truth to it. So do studded tires matter on an AWD Edge?

I purchased a new Ford Symbol for my girlfriend for christmas to replace her current one thats all scratched up. We are trying to figure out how to remove the old one and install the new one. It came from the dealership with a sticky backing but also with long prongs that undoubtedly hold it in place. If it were my car i'd just start taking the inside of the hatch apart but she rather i not do that. I'm not even sure its necessary. She'd rather take everything to the dealership, but i think that could just be a waste of money. Does anyone have any insight to this? And is there anything i should know before installing the new one? Thank you

Hi everyone! I'm 25 and male from south of pittsburgh, Pa. My girlfriend bought a 2008 Edge AWD Limited (i think) back in May so I joined this forum to help her with any issues she may have while owning it. She comes from a non Ford family so i really hope this car gives them and everyone else a great impression with Ford.
