Same for me too... except mine asks if I want to run a status check or something like that.... has now done it 3 times in less than 2 months... I was wondering if this is a common thing &/or a recall type thing?

Yep, I have the same issue too & also put Rain-X on my windshield.... Was told the line is because I put the Rain-X on it... I love how Rain-X works getting the rain to bead off, but that line across the driver's side is distracting...

I use Meguire's too & love it (haven't on the Edge yet, but need to)... I have the black dash & black leather for interior.... Does anyone else notice that the airbag cover on the passenger side on the dash looks like a different color than the rest of the dash? Mine looks almost grey compared to the black? I was going to use some Meguire's Vinyl treatment on it to see if it helped, but 1) I wasn't sure if that's what I'm supposed to use on the dash to begin with & 2) I wasn't sure if it would make any difference (ie: should get the dealer to replace it via the 3 Yr/30K mile warranty)?

I feel like this is a stupid question, but is there a way to get more air (heat) to the back seats of an '09 Edge Limited? My brother was back there on a cold day & said he felt no heat coming from the vents, even thoug it was nice & toasty up front... I don't see any specific controls for the back seats & there are only vents in the console for the back, no controllers.... any ideas?

Howdy ya'll from Texas. I just bought my '09 Edge in November & absolutely love it!! I wanted to join a forum to get info, learn new things & know more about my Edge & keeping it looking & feeling new. Did a Google search & found you guys... looking forward to hanging out & chatting. I have 2 other Fords currently as well, a '92 Mustang GT & an '04 Mustang GT... I'm in process of trying to sell the '92, however... I don't have enough garage space for all 3 & the '04 is my first Mustang, it just got paid off as of today & I have no intention of letting it go, so the '92 will need a new home... hopefully once people start getting tax refunds, she'll sell..... anyway, didn't mean to go on & on with that... LOL! Like I said, looking forward to hanging out with some fellow Edge owners. Oh yeah & here's a pic of my Edge the day I bought it:
