Tires and wheels for my not-yet-ordered EdgeGood_Hands replied to jeffreybehr's topic in Interior, A.C., Heat, Interior Trim No rubbing at all. These tires are actually almost the same size as the 245/60/18's that came on the car. www.1010tires.com has a "Tire Size Calculator" that allows you to put in your present tire and any other tire size - then show you how the two compare: diameter, circumference, change of MPH, etc.

Huh? What is this FREE service to which you are referring?

Tires and wheels for my not-yet-ordered EdgeGood_Hands replied to jeffreybehr's topic in Interior, A.C., Heat, Interior Trim They are excellent. I had Pirelli PNeros M&S on my RX8 and loved them, especially for the stickiness. Couldn't get that tire in the 275/45/20 so I went with the Hankooks. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?aut...=si&img=372

Of course, Memphis has both M and S so it is a good fit for me. Wheels look nice. Post some pics once they are mounted. I am very curious to see how the 5-spoke looks.

I'm with you. Memphis, TN. Hot and humid. Temp these last few days never below 91. Carbon Edge, BAMR and Camel interior. Once I get in the Edge, I roll down the driver's window and turn the AC on Auto (with recirulate on). I roll the window back up after about a minute and within less than a mile, I have to "slow" down the AC fan. And with the steering wheel in the "up" position, the cold air is blowing directly on my face. Definitely cold AC.

Every car I have owned has had a sunroof or been convertible. Me thinks you don't like them. Why?

Very ingenious. Looks good. I hate when they do that. I always have them take it off. One time a dealer balked at it; I simply asked him how much a month I could expect from him for advertising his dealership. Needless to say, he took it off.

Or..... Hey Everyone! I'm really upset and I need to get some help. Please tell me what you think. I recently checked my mileage the old fashoined way..divided gallons used into miles traveled and came up with 28 mpg. I thought this was very odd. It is extremely unlikely to get mileage rated above what the car is rated. Of course, I would have loved it, but still knew it was strange. I was befuddled and gobsmacked. So, in an effort to double-check my odometer, I checked the mileage starting with the mile markers on the interstate. After 8 miles I noticed it wasn't reading the same as the mile markers. My hubby has a truck with the old fashoined roll over digits and took a trip and checked the mileage on that and then took the Edge on the same trip. Once again I received a different reading. I know this can't be right. It effects the mpg and the actual miles the car is driven. I scoured through the many insightful and helpful posts on this board and didn't see anything along the same subject. Has anyone experienced this? ----- I think she would have received a much more favorable response from the members had she posted this instead. It's not what you say, but how you say it.
