:hyper: Anybody install a dash kit or in channel vent shades on a edge yet? If so where did you purchase them and how do they look? :shades:

:wacko: We drive this car every day and have had little rain, the car is also garaged at night so I think the rust reason is out. I will be taking the car to the dealer (as soon as they get a part in that fell off) and they are going to check it out. It is getting worse the more we drive, we now have 650 miles on it.

I only have 400 miles on the car and very little freeway use.

My Edge has a shudder when brakeing ie: above 45mph mostly, it shakes the steering wheel and just doesn't seem to be right. I don't know if its the ABS or what the problem is. :stop:

Just a thought on Sweeties problem, Could it be a problem with the computer setting? Canada must use the Kph setting and we (the US) use Mph and I would think the Canadian speedometer is in KPH with the Mph on small scale. But I don't Know this for a fact.

Does anyone know what the rims look like under the "Plastic Hub Cap" (chrome clad)? and are they something that could be made useable? :wacko:

Sorry to hear of your bad luck! You will miss the ride and quieetness of the Edge

I have always played my own Cd's with no problems, But I write the title with a sharpie as I have had problems with paper lables in other cd players and computers.

Who did youorder your kit from and what was the cost. :hyper:

:happy feet: I wanted the Silver but ended up with the Light Sage with the Stone interior and it really is a good color and looks great on the Edge. :shades:

:yup: Anyone install the wood grain dash kits? I am looking at the Sherwood kit which has parts for a lot of the cheap looking plastic parts. Had it on my 05 Escape and it looked great. :hyper:

Don't know but it feels like the same wheel in aluminum, may be able to glass bead and paint I guess time will tell. :wacko: Just did a little cutting on the foam around the spare tire and made room for the ball and hitch assy and left another free space, this will have to suffice untill I feel like the $300 plastic CMS is worth the money. :shades:

To late now.! If the dealer had pointed it out I would have opted for the painted also. :angry:

Amen! They had told me that they could not order a new Edge from the factory as the cutoff date for oders had passed, So they looked around for one that matched as close as possible. I had asked for the Cargo system but the one they found didn't have it and they sort of infered that it was not a big deal to add it. I never saw one without it, So I didn't know what I wasn't getting! My Fault!!

Just took delivery of my new Edge SEL + 2007 ,Light Sage, w/nav, Rear Sensing system, Entertainment, Roof Rails, Chome wheels, Towing package and Sirius raidio :hyper: But they sold it to me without the cargo management system, Little did I know how useless that area is without it, Big Mistake! Ford Motor Co. should be ashamed of themselves for not putting this on as standard and for putting a price tag of $300 at the parts counter for an item thats $65.
