Guindalf
I installed a set of the AVS wind deflectors, the in-channel kind, last night, but there appears to be a problem. Of course, I won't know for sure until I test them after 24 hours, but it seems that when I open the windows (all four of them), the deflector springs back out and into the path of the returning window! The only way I can close a window is to hold the deflector out while pressing the button and even then it takes a few attempts to get it right! Is there a secret to installing them so this doesn't happen? No matter how good they look, I can't live with that and if it's the case, I'll have to remove and return them to Amazon. I've already had to return one set because they arrived cracked! TIA.
sweetlazydays
I purchased the same deflectors and ended up giving tmem away because of the same problem I have since purchased weathertech version and they are much higher quality...and the window closes how it should
sleepy23
Make you a good deal on the AVS ones that 3m tape on the outside.
Guindalf
Gee, thanks! I resolved the problem with the help of an email to Lund. I had the end flanges in the window channel instead of between the rubber and the post. I was able to relocate them last night (took less than five minutes for all four) and everything works perfectly now.
