However, it may be active from the original owner and you could have some residual connection. I bought a 2011 Edge Limited in December and Sirius stayed active until the middle of last month. I then put my serial # into siriusxm.com and it said I qualified for a 60 day trial, so I ended up with close to six months free in total. I called Sirius and transferred my 5 month truck plan on my edge, they wanted to charge me $50 and I said no, so they took it off. When you renew ask for a deal, they will give it to you for $29 for 6 months here in Canada, they want the business and will want to keep you, it's only worth 60$ a year anyway.
