expoman55 Posted January 15, 2018 Report Share Posted January 15, 2018 JoeyAlex - I just did same thing but added one more step I added the VSS( security box) and the RMU that plugs into VSS. I have the Security system functioning ( simple install) but not the remote start yet. That box and VSS is super simple to install. If you need to program the car your dealer I am told can do it with IDS for a fee or buy a ELM OBDII cable from Amazon for 25 and download the FORScan software and extended license.. I made changes to my explorer very simply with it once I got the right cable and extended license. If you are computer savy at all it should not be to overwhelming.
