surfer1 Posted January 10, 2014 Report Share Posted January 10, 2014 (edited) So......I just purchased a beautiful 2013 with a Vista roof and after reading all the conversations about racks that work with the sunroof, I couldn't understand why the OEM rails were not being offered from Ford. Turns out it has nothing to do with the integrity of the roof or the rails themselves. It has everything to do with the cross bars and clearance. The OEM cross bars and likely many LOW PROFILE CROSSBARS WILL NOT WORK. The glass will likely make contact when opening. However, if using aftermarket crossbars that sits above the height of the OEM rails will work just fine.
