c360 Posted January 29, 2020 Report Share Posted January 29, 2020 So I first had symptoms with this for the first time almost 2 years ago, but it did about once every 3-4 months. Definitely not reproducible back then. The last few months it has picked up to once a month or so, and this month it has been every week. This week it has been almost every day. Unfortunately still not super reproducible, since it usually does it when the transmission is not fully warmed up. At this point I would imagine the cost of the TSB will be mine unless someone has any strategies to get ford to help? Is there any more potential damage that could have been done to the trans or is this more of a “comfort” issue. A more direct question would be if I get this done, am I likely to have more problems shortly the down road, or be good for a while? My edge is a 2011 SE with 73k miles. c360 Posted January 29, 2020 Author Report Share Posted January 29, 2020 I have since found TSB 13-3-18, that looks very similar, but is just a PCM reflash. Has anyone used that one? Is it any better or worse, short or long term, than the 11-12-10 TSB (other than obviously being cheaper to perform since the vehicle is out of warranty). Thanks!
