Shaking steering on braking/rubbing noise on acceleration under load

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

2016 Edge Sport, Having a shaking feeling in my steering when I brake and originally thought it was warped rotors. Replaced pads and rotors and still getting it. But I'm also hearing a rubbing/almost grinding noise coming from the right front wheel/suspension area when I accelerate aggressively uphill or around turns.

Starting to think it's possibly a bad strut bearing but wanted to get some input from you all of you've experienced something similar or have any ideas of what it could be besides that. I don't want to order the strut mount and have it not solve the issue.

Tried to get a recording of the sound but it's so short lived when it happens and too quiet to really tell in video.
