UntitledCackle Posted May 2, 2022 Report Share Posted May 2, 2022 (edited) I'm interested in this '16 Edge SEL, everything about it looks good but some rust under the frame (and at the base of the hood latch but unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of this) is giving me pause. I don't know much about cars so I don't know if this is normal or not given the year. I took it to a mechanic and according to him it's all surface level rust that can be treated/stopped with periodic fluid oil. He said it was still a buy from him but I'm not sure, it gave me serious pause. Anyway, I'm attaching some pictures in order to get a few more opinions from others. I like the 16 Edge but there are not that many good choices in my area unfortunately (the used car market sucks here) hence why I haven't outright discarded this one.
