fletcher969 Posted yesterday at 05:17 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 05:17 AM Hi all, I posted about a loud tapping and rattling noise I was hearing in my engine bay here: That issue and the rattle were solved as part of the same repair; however, the repair revealed there was a second tapping noise, so I created a second post as they were completely different issues...not the same at all. I mentioned as much in an update in the first post. I'm assuming the mods must have deleted my second post believing it and the first post were the same issue, because I have the URL/link to my second post, and it redirects to my first post. Is there any way to contact the mods so I can discuss what happened?
1004ron Posted yesterday at 09:49 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 09:49 AM No sign of a deleted post - maybe it was merged if it appeared to be related. Post another post, unrelated to the link you included and lets see.

My 'deleted' post is now the second post in the surviving thread. I don't want to break protocol, but can I copy the merged second post, create a new thread with it, then delete/edit out the second post? I'll title it so there is a clearer distinction between the two tapping issues.
1004ron
Yes go ahead and create a new one and we can then delete the one in the existing thread.
