I also wanted to know if I can get a different start button that will give me some kind of signal that lets me know if the car started? The factory installed remote start is a nice feature, but it would be nice to be able to hit the button from inside a building and be able to know if the car started. Only a "2 way remote" will tell you if the vehicle is started. Changing the remote fob won't help any. As you can imagine a 2 way remote will be more expensive.
