krishtall
Just noticed recently, when I do a hard turn at slow speed every time steering wheel going to neutral I feel a slight transmission kick. No other noises or anything else. I wonder if it is normal?
K-Man
Just noticed recently, when I do a hard turn at slow speed every time steering wheel going to neutral I feel a slight transmission kick. No other noises or anything else. I wonder if it is normal? Hi, I posted a somewhat similar issue a couple of months ago. Have a read through the posts...maybe it'll help. Here's the link: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?/topic/4789-hearing-a-clunk-knocking-noise-when-accelerating/ I too had a 'kick' when I had my wheel was turned hard (left or right) and accelerated at a slow speed. I also had a 'clunk' noise when accelerating from a stopped position. It ended up being a faulty PTU system which Ford replaced and knock-on-wood...has been running fine since they changed it a month or so ago. Cheers Edited May 12, 2010 by K-Man
