janniepie Posted March 13, 2011 Report Share Posted March 13, 2011 The navigation system on my 2011 Edge SEL seems to be stuck in night mode. The dark background is really had to see in bright daylight. I've looked and looked for a setting to adjust to get to day mode but haven't been able to find one on screen or in the manual. When driving it does flicker to day mode with the bright background for short periods of time, but always reverts back to night mode after a few miles. What triggers the change from day to night mode? The sensor that automatically turns on the headlights? Time of day from the clock? The headlights being on? Is this something that I can adjust or is this a problem that needs a service visit? Any advice is appreciated! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Edgieguy Posted March 14, 2011 Report Share Posted March 14, 2011 there is a small light sensor in the middle front of your dashboard. Is there something blocking it?
