callatis Posted June 16, 2017 Report Share Posted June 16, 2017 It's been a while since my 2013 Ford Edge starting making 3 short beeps while driving, The noise seems to come from behind the LCD. I have no warning or any other visual display to make me aware of any issue. I have 90K and probably I started hearing this noise one year ago. I didn't take it to the dealer as I am out of warranty. According to the owners manual if there is an airbag fault one of the warnings will be a series of 5 beeps which I know is more than 3, but you never know. The manual also states that this will continue periodically until it is corrected. Here is the quote A series of five beeps will be heard.
